"Attitude" (SonAmy Boom)

Chapter 2

Amy was just preparing to go on the gang's usual breakfast time at Meh Burger.

"Now where did I put it again? Oh, here it is. " She crouched down beside her bed to pick up her fallen red head band. She stood back up and placed it on her pink quills. She proceeded outside.

"Hey guys! " The pink hedgehog greeted cheerfully to her friends.

"Morning Amy! " The gang greeted back at her except the blue speedster. Sonic just glanced at her then continued eating his chili dog without a second glance at her.

Amy noticed him neglecting her. She already noticed since day one. She always just thought that maybe he was mad at her for something. She wanted to talk about it but chose not to. She went to sit beside Knuckles. She noticed that her friends already ordered her burger. She began munching it, ladylike of course.

"Plah! Ugh, my sandwich tastes weird today." Knuckles spat out his food then started complaining.

"Maybe an alien poisoned it? " Sticks crazily asked. Everyone face palmed at her. "What? It's a possibility and you know it! "

"*sigh*What did you order, Knuckles? " Sonic asked the red echidna.

"Fish sandwich, my usual. Why? "

"Knux, your usual is an egg sandwich. Remember? "

"Oh, is it? "

Everyone sighed. Sonic bit on his chili dog the his gaze suddenly went over Amy. He didn't realize he was watching her eating. Not until Amy's eyes met his.

Sonic's eyes slightly widened for a split second then quickly turned his gaze away. Amy, however, noticed his unusual action. She decided to not think about it, which is a little impossible to do.

"Why did I do that?! Oh, I wish she didn't notice. " Sonic thought panicked, but on the outside he was keeping his cool.

"Was he staring at me? Nah, I'm probably just still not used to not talking to him for days. " She was still not quite completely convinced on her theory.

"... you guys in? " Tails asked the two hedgehog. Both staring in space deep in thought. Tails noticed them not paying attention. He frowned. "Sonic! Amy! "

"Huh? " The hedgehogs got snapped away from their thoughts, startled by their young yellow friend. Sticks, Knuckles and Tails gave them weird looks.

"Umm... Sorry Tails. What was that? " Amy asked hiding that she and Sonic we're both deep in thought together.

"I... was just asking if you guys wanna see my latest invention."

"Oh, sure! Of course Tails. "

"You two were sure in deep thoughts. Thinking about each other, huh? " Knuckles smirked at the two blushing lovebirds.

"W-What? That's crazy, Knux! " Sonic exclaimed.

"Y-Yeah! I'm not thinking about him! " My stuttered.

"Wow. For the first time in four days, you two actually agreed on something! Well, besides in a battle. " Tails grinned.

Sonic sighed. "I don't wanna deal with this right now... "
