"Francesca Violet! Hurry up! Because if you are late we are all late! And you had enough time to get your brown butt ready! Do not make me come in there!" Stef yelled as it was Monday morning and Frankie as usual was the slowest. No matter what time Lena got her up even when they were in camp Frankie couldn't seem to get herself together. The TV was off limits in the morning because the girl was far too distracted as she ran out the room with her shorts and tights on. Since she hated wearing anything else and was in a new school without a uniform Lena bought her a few shorts and stylish leggings to wear with them. Yes of course they had wanted to keep Jude and Frankie in their private school but Stef just didn't feel right about it. Not at all especially since Mike and Judy were no longer together. The timing however to change schools was ideal for Frankie was starting first grade and Jude 9th which scared the shit out of Stef.
"I was looking for my headband mama!" She yelled now putting it on her head as Stef let out a sigh.
"Mama Lion keeps all your headbands in that little box she got you. If you kept it in there and didn't throw them all over the damm house you would find them. Now wouldn't you?" She scolded already seeing what it would be like dealing with future Frankie as it seemed the little girl was ignoring her and putting on her pink high top converse sneakers.
"I forgot."
"Yeah well hurry up and put your jacket on please. Everyone is in the car but you."
"What if I don't make friends? I'm scared."
"You're scared?" Stef asked surprised.
"Sort of. What if no one likes me?"
Kneeling down to her daughter's level Stef could only smile and gently hold her hand for it was rare for Frankie to be scared.
"Frankie who in there right damm mind wouldn't like you. MM? You are the sweetest, cutest, funniest little girl I know. And you have the biggest heart I have ever seen. You are so welcoming my love and you have your own personality that is a rather big personality. You will make a ton of friends I bet. And won't Darlene be there? I mean she changed schools too right sweetheart?"
"Oh right! I forgot! I hope she is in my class!"
"Yeah I hope she is too pumpkin. Now let's go!"
"Ok!" Frankie giggled and hugging her mother. "I love you mama."
"I love you too princess." Pulling apart the two rubbed noses as Stef softly kissed hers and Frankie kissed hers back giggling and wrapping her little arms around Stef's neck. Right now Stef really wished she could freeze time because it was going far to fast for her once again. Way to fast and as Frankie would grow older the two would always be close even if there would be a period of time that the girl would pull away. It would crush Stef and kill her heart like nothing else. "I'm so proud of you. First grade. But do me a favor stop growing so fast. Ok?"
"Ok." She grinned as her mother let out a wide smile playing with the little girls long pretty curls. "Remember you have your choir rehearsal after school. Mama Lion will take you and Nana Rose will drop you home. Ok?"
"Ok!"
"Alright lets go before they start honking the horn."
Locking up the little home the two ran into the car as Noah, baby Stef and Lena were waiting.
"I think one day we will need a larger car honey?" Lena said putting her makeup on in the mirror and fixing her hair.
"Yeah I know it. Those three row SUV's I was looking at them."
"Yeah?"
"Yup. Pricey as fuck but..
"Stef."
"I mean they are expensive and I feel bad Jude has to walk."
