today was the day, i was going to confess my undying love for kiji since the beginning of our friendship. i was walking out of my house, humming to 'grow up' and was skipping down the road, i spotted kiji and changbin hyung so i ran up to them
"kiji! changbin hyung!" i shouted as i ran over to them, i placed my arm over kiji and smiled at changbin hyung, he said to take care of kiji and he ran off, leaving me and kiji to walk slowly towards school. we went to our seats as usual but now, kiji was just staring out of the windows, probably waiting for jisung to come and say hi but the thing is he was not in korea anymore. i could see the sadness in kiji's eyes, i really felt really bad, shes in a bad mood, would she reject me? does she still have feelings for jisung? oh no, all my thoughts got jumbled up and i was really worried and confused,
"kiji ah, meet me at the rooftop during lunch ok?" i said and kiji gave ma an 'okay' sign. class was really boring and after class, i ran up to the rooftop without kiji and placed down a mat. while waiting for her to come up, i got some drinks and chips from my bad and placed it in a corner of the mat. i was arranging the place when the door opened, it was kiji, she looked at me with curiosity,
"hyunjinnie oppa, whats all this?" she said walking towards me,
"oh its for us! i made it all nice a cosy!" i said and gestured her to come sit, i had butterflies in my stomach, im not backing out, im going to do it today.

kiji pov
i went up to the rooftop and it was really nicely decorated,
"hyunjinnie oppa, whats all this?" i said curiously and he gestured me to go take a seat
"oh its for us! i made it all nice and cosy!" he said, hes really cute when he does this for fun, i wish i could just engulf him in a big warm hug and tell him how much i loved him from the start.
"kiji ah, i wanted to tell you this but could not pluck up my courage to tell you but-" he cut off his sentence, i tilted my head smiling, he looked really cute like that,
"but- i really like you, would you be my-" i kissed him on the cheek.
"yes, yes i will!" i said, his eyes lit up and he gave me a big warm hug, it felt really nice to have a hug like that again, i missed it a lot. now i dont feel that thing i've always been missing when im with jisung, everything feels perfecyly fine when im with hyunjin, everything feels happy and exciting.
