Once Again ✔️

Chapter 15

Even though the two siblings don't remember anything in the past doesn't mean I don't. So to stop myself from getting crazier each passing day so, I investigate the things that happen from the past.

Walking down the street, I couldn't appreciate the sight I'm seeing. Questions filled my mind every step I take, soon I found myself in front of the library.

Ding!

Mrs. Barley, the Sweet old librarian as usual greeting me with her sweet smile, I couldn't help but smile towards her too.

"Oh, Lara there are new books that are shipped across the country. Do you want to try and read it?" Shaking my head no. If it was the other day I would rush down and grab as many books I could find but I have a different aim today.

Countless books stacked up in an orderly way. There are some few people here and there.

After looking for some news or any information about the 16 to 17th century, I found nothing. It's been so long and the news are no longer there.

I tried to think about my memories but there are some fragments that are not known to me yet.

It was already 11 am so I went to buy to a fast food chain, eating my fill  I was supposed to go home but I heard a woman call me. I found myself looking at the familiar blue eyes in the other street. Heads turning as they heard her sweet voice, it's no other than Liliana.

"Do you have anyone on you? If not do-do you w-want to come with me. Uhm I just got here and uhh you're the only one I know here" oh! So she's new here. No wonder why. Looking at her, I wanted to laugh suddenly. She looks like a child who want someone to play with them. She's just too cute and lovely with her floral off shoulder dress and cream colored boots.

"Sure. I don't have anyone with me either" almost blinded by her smile, she tug me to the nearest mall in the town.

She is addicted at shopping I tell you. My feet was so sore as we walk to almost every store and buy almost everything on them. But of course we didn't because I stop her, thankfully. There are 15 bags on each of us.

The most torturous part for me was shopping for dress. I know she wanted to know my opinion but there's a limit to it. I can't even differentiate the dresses and shirts and crop tops and all the shits!

I could see myself fainting after being dragged to every store she could find. My sister and her would instantly be best friends after I tell her this. I can almost imagine her face, grinning like she has a new Ally to bully me.

After almost a lifetime we finally arrived at the food court. I ordered a rice in a box and devoured all of it. I didn't care about my image nor the stains that are staining through my shirt and face. I just hope she won't remember it.

"My brother will drive me back home, it's already noon. Do you want to tag along?"

Horrified at the thought of me being driven home by them. I wanted to run as fast as I can. Looking at the sky it's already dark, there are no stars which means it will start to rain. No umbrella and haling a cab was hard. I just nod my head, there's no other way.

I have to stay in a close space with them.

Being in a close space with them was torture. The two of them was conversing happily, they wanted to include me into their conversation which didn't go well to me.

I swear I could feel my heart beating so fast everytime Leonard look at me. It's the intensity in his eyes that make me shrink back in the corner, not daring to say anything.

Of course our bubbly Liliana didn't take it well. She scolds her brother and told him to be more sensitive towards a woman's feeling. I don't want to be understood by him though, I would rather sleep in my bed or read a good book. It's just my curiosity that leads me here.

"Curiosity killed the cat" it was real and I didn't get killed but I always feel like I was sliced in every part of my body as he gives me a stare.

"So..... How long have you been dating?"  Choking in her words I look at her wide eyes. Dating? Did she mean me and Sebastian?

Of course she is you dumb woman. The two of you kissed and do all couples do but yet you refused to be with him. He ask you if you want to be with him, he let you decide but you were too much of a coward to say what you really want.

I guess I have to up my game then.

"Umm.... We're just, still seeing each other. Umm, uhh testing each other's compatibility?" It was more like a question than an answer to me. She look confused and I don't really want to answer anymore.

"Don't bother them anymore. They're already adults. They know what they're doing" I was saved because of Leonard. I give him a smile but he just looks at me. I couldn't stand to stare at him for even 10 seconds so I turned away.

Lilian was supposed to retort back when she was given a hard stare by her brother. Pouting at him she just stocked her tounge out and look away. Pretending to be angry she didn't breathe a word into the next moment. Silence filled the car and it was uncomfortable.

Leonard just look at her and then ruffled her head. I was not shocked when I find him gentle with her sister.

After all he loves her.

I know it was a boring part but I still hope you bear with me.

My first book and I could feel myself getting busy with all the school stuff I have to do.

Anyways I might not update in some few days but I will update everyone I have the time.
