just words,
but they hold so much power.
like a screaming wind,
enough force to make a mountain cower.
simple blottings of ink,
a slur of speech.
but enough to make a dynasty fall,
or a nonbeliever preach.
just words,
but they hold so much emotion.
like the howling of wolves,
enough sound to drown out an ocean.
so call them words,
but I have named them weapons.
when even the smallest sparrow,
can muster a shrill cry will always deafen.
