Jamie, now seventeen, was first in all his –advanced– classes and the number one ranked student at Dumstrang. Yet, the other students didn't mind and were all super friendly to him, especially his best friend –Viktor Krum.
Jamie and Viktor became friends in first year after being assigned as partners in almost every class.
After so many years of friendship the Krum family had all but adopted Jamie as one of their own. Viktor and Jamie saw each other as family. Even the students and staff sometimes referred to them as brothers.
