No one saw Jamie for the week of valentines day. This was a normal experience to hid family after Lucifer's disappearance.
It was not, however, what Dean and Sam were expecting when they'd finally located him through pleading with Gabriel to allow Castiel to come through. It wasn't until they were told that it would have been Jamie and Lucifer's 10th anniversary that they began to understand.
They followed Gabriel and Jamie's younger twin brothers to the basement. From there Gabriel popped away with Cas in tow while Fred and George showed Sam and Dean to Jamie's music room before they quietly left.
What they herd made the two brothers rethink their opinions on their elder brother's relationship with Lucifer.
They didn't necessarily like it, but they would respect his decision if he truly made their brother happy when they saw just how much Jamie was hurting.
