It was engagement day. The gigantic cake looked marvelous and Kandy was way too cheerful to say the least. He was happy and satisfied with his team and he reminded himself to give them bonuses for their hard work.

Kandy was getting ready for the ceremony, he wanted to look presentable and decent. He decided to wear a beige two buttoned tuxedo suit  and matching trousers. His hair was slightly damp due to him taking a shower just before getting ready. He ruffled his hair by his fingers to dry it out a bit and styles it in a way that could only lead to ladies dropping their panties to the floor, but of course Kandy was oblivious to that considering he had asked Amelia to be his date for tonight. Hence, why he was trying so hard.

Unknowingly, his thoughts drifts off to Valerie for some reason, he couldn't help but frown. Surely, he had lot many questions but he knew better than to interrogate Valerie, even if he did he was clear that her answers would be vague so there was no point of trying.

Why wouldn't she attend her own brother's engagement? He thought. Does Juliet know?

Kandy wanted Valerie to attend the engagement for some reason, he imagined her in a dress, with her hair down and cherry lips. He figured that Valerie would still look as beautiful as ever even in a normal attire. Kandy only chuckled when he imagined Valerie in Pajamas and in plain Star Wars Tee with her glasses on. She would look less intimidating like that, he thought.

Kandy's ringtone blaring snaps him out of the thought, Antonio's name flashing on his phone. He immediately picks up the call.

"Hey man." He greets while staring at his reflection in the mirror, something is missing, he thought as he narrows his eyes to think and gives his attire a once over.

"I've delivered the cake safely to the hall and Maisey is giving the final touch up to it."

"Alright then, I'll meet you there."

"Sure."

They cut the call and Kandy's face turn into realisation. The wrist watch was missing, his wrist looked dull without it. Kandy immediately grabs his watch from the bed-side table and clips it to his wrist. Now the attire looks complete. He grabs his mobile and wallet before grabbing the keys to his car and walking out of the room.

Kandy drives to Amelia's house and parks his car to the side of the gate. He then proceeds to walk to her door and rings the bell to her house. The door opens immediately revealing a gorgeous looking Amelia in a cream dress that unknowingly matched his suit. He grins at the sight of her and forwards his right hand for her to grab.

"You're looking beautiful, Mel." He says, with his eyes still on Amelia's.

Amelia rolls her eyes but nevertheless a smile takes a way upon her face as she checks out Kandy's attire. He looked devilishly handsome and his physique looked lean and well-built. He looked utterly hot and Amelia couldn't help but clench her thighs. She imagined herself running her fingers through his body, she wanted to feel his skin and grab him in to a rough kiss. Amelia's eyes twinkled in lust and she thought maybe today she would be able to convince him for whatever she wants. Amelia couldn't wait for the night to end already so she can take him to her bed.

"Mel?" Kandy interrupts her thoughts and Amelia snaps out of the fence before grabbing Kandy's outstretched hand.

"Let's go." She says, a smirk playing on her lips.

Once in the car, Kandy starts to drive to the venue where the engagement was taking place. Though he knew Valerie wouldn't come, he still hoped she shows up. Kandy was yet to make his decision about the deal but that didn't stop him from hoping to see her face. He felt slightly agitated at the thought of not seeing Valerie again. For all he knew, he wanted to cook lunch for her every afternoon. The feeling of him wanting to know everything about her had only turned into an urge in these past days and Kandy was unknown to the answer of the cause.
