Here you were, standing on the green grass outside that damned bathhouse as spirits convulsed in and out of shops and houses, lights had begun to dim with the dawn and you couldn't budge in all the commotion. Just staring down the House as if an enemy were about to walk out through the front doors.

Which could happen.

You sighed as the sound of silence grew and began to overtake the grounds of the house. You could see the boat leaving, full to the brim of spirits trying to escape the House. You held the gem in your hand, twirling it around in your fingers.

What was it?

You sighed and looked back at the towering House, a dark gloom seemed to shadow the building in an evil way. Gripping the necklace in your hand, your jaw clenched, anger swirled inside of you. How quickly this had happened and your hard work had been torn from beneath you. Hearing a creak, you adjusted your gaze until you were staring at that damned spirit.

"Usssseeee ittttttt." it croaked out, pointing a wavering finger at the string around your neck. You stiffened slightly and cupped the gem in your right palm.
"How?" You asked impatiently, if this thing could help with rescuing Haku you would do anything it takes. "Yourrrrrr feelingsss" it took a step back. Your brows knitted together and you thought deeply about your current emotions and what was causing them.

Anger, hurt and a slight bit of hope. Ran around in your head like a dog on a leash begging to be untethered. You dig deeper, letting the anger and hurt envelop you but heading straight for that sliver of hope. A hope that everything would be ok again, a hope that you could save Haku and the Aburaya.

A hope that your wishes would come true.

The emotions started to drown you and your body began to stretch, a feeling of tearing and a clicking noise rang through your ears. You heaved in strangled breaths as your legs and arms grew and your neck stretched. Your ears lengthened and your face seemed to extend outwards. The pain was dull but it was there nonetheless.

After a moment or two it subsided and you shook your head. You moved to stand up but you were now at least 8ft tall. You shrieked and stared at the spirit, it nodded in a satisfactory way and vanished.

You looked down to see white clawed feet and a red, black and white tail flicking around.

Well, I'll be damned.
