"Step brother barely means anything anymore" Calum spat

"We were step brothers and the closest ones can be we would always come here with everyone and Lily-"

"Don't you dare speak her name!" Calum intervened

"I was drunk and so was she. I've apologized a million times and you've never forgiven me, and now you're trying to get back at me." I told him sincerely

"Get back at you? You don't even like Renee and why I like her is none of your business. Your only gonna fuck her and drop her" He recalled

"Take that back. I would never, I actually like her and I know I've done things in the past but that isn't right, maybe she's falling for the disguise you put on but she will never love the real you." I spat

And I'm not lying I really do like her if anything I would do anything. I miss her and she's with Calum now but that will not stop me I will get her back.

"Well mate let's see about that when we're fucking

While my name is escaping her lips." he spoke with his venomous tongue

At that moment I feel my blood boiling and my body stiffen while my eyes filled with dark clouds.

In the swift movement I threw a right hook at him by surprise but he knew it was coming with that talk.

"We'll fucking see about that. Touch her and I swear to god if it's the last thing you will do. I will fucking kill you." I threatened

He just chuckled and walked away.

After the encounter with Calum, I got in my car and drove over to Reneé's house to speak to her and to truly apologize.

It's going to be hard but I'm gonna try to put my ego behind me for her.

For the girl that has captured my attention and heart. Cheesy as it sounds it's true but it's too early to tell her that because she would definitely run and she's not even mine right now.

I rang the doorbell and waited then the door opened and I saw her. Doesn't look like she's excited to see me and I understand why but if she just gave me the time to explain everything

"What are you doing here?" she asks

I look at my shoes and mumble my response.

"What?" she questioned

"I'm here for you." I told her honestly.

She didn't say anything just looked at the door frame as is it was the most interesting thing at the moment.

"Um why don't you come in?" she stated more than a question

"So what did yo-"

"It's Calum." I interjected

She rolled her eyes

"Calum has been nothing but good to me while you disappeared and ignored me. You're probably more interested in Calum than me since you only come for him not me." She stated

I had a lot to say but nothing would come out.

She started to walk away when I grab her wrist and turned her around to the wall and me close enough for our lips to barely touch.

"Oh really?" I smirked

"Yeah" the word barely escaped her lips.
