Later that afternoon...

Sophie's POV:

The sun is shining in my face, opening my eyes I realise that I'm in Mom and Dad's room. No one's around, just me on the bed. I reach for my phone which is somehow on mom's bedside table.

12:26 pm, WHAT?! How did I end up waking up at this time. Oooo, ow my head is killing me, and my back is aching.

"Mom?... Mom?" I call out in pain.

"Sophie?" She calls back.

"Mom! Please" I scream.

"Coming" I hear her running, presumably from Dad's office.

She runs in and comes to my side.

"What's wrong? Where does it hurt?" She asks.

"My head, my back..ow! My back is worse" I cry out.

"Breathe.. breathe" She demonstrates some breathing.

"I am, but it hurts" I sigh, trying to breathe.

"It's okay, just don't panic" Mom rubs my back.

"Why is this happening to me? Oh my gosh!" I wince in pain.

"Don't worry honey, It'll be fine... your dad is going to be home soon and we really need to get you to the hospital" Mom explains rubbing my back.

"No, please... no hospital" I cry into her shoulder.

"But you need to" She says.

"I can't, I hate hospitals" I sigh.

"Okay, okay..." Mom kisses my head.

My pain slowly starts going away. I sit straight and look at mom. She smiles at me, she looks exhausted. I know it's my fault that she's tired.

"Mom, I'm sorry for making you tired with my midnight pains" I sigh.

"Hey, that's why I'm a mother.. I take care of you until you don't depend on me to" She smiles.

"I'm going to get freshened up and I'll come down" I smile.

"Okay, I'll be in the family room" She says getting up.

I sit on my phone and I post a video that I had created for my mom. I put my phone down and walked to my room to take a shower.

Half an hour later, I'm dressed and brushing my hair. I walk back to mom and dad's room to make the bed and grab my phone.

I check my phone and see that Elizabeth, Emily, Rose and Dad commented on my post. Dad made an account, wow!
