"hey," i sat next to y/n who was eating breakfast in the couch. "jenna told me you wanted to talk."

"she did?" y/n turned to look at me confused. "oh right—i remember, so i've been thinking about this lately and, hear me out, but i wanted to clear things up with people from my past."

"by people from your past you mean who?" i asked, i knew where this was going. "you fixed things with ryan and debby a long time ago..."

"i meant—kyanna, ryanna, and my family." oh dear.

"well, it's your choice, you know i will always support you on whatever decision you make." i smiled at her and kissed her cheek.

"thank you." she whispered and had a smile. "but, i want you to come with me, it's a huge milestone in my life."

"right," i said. "i also want to tell you this, tyler and i are going on tour; it's the spring leg of our tour."

"oh," she smiled but frowned later. "i'm so happy for you and tyler! perfect timing i bet."

"indeed," i hugged her. "we want you and jenna to come with us, in fact, we have dates for both columbus and new york, you'll be able to clear things up with everyone."

"really?" she hugged back. "that's so amazing! when is the first show?"

"march 17th," i replied. "the good thing is, we won't miss sarah and brendon's wedding."

"even better."

we landed in alabama about a day ago. i had never been to this place, so maybe later on i can try out some foods.

for now, jenna and i were listening the boys rehearse.

"can you believe people from all over the country have heard tyler's voice, his words touching people's heart?" jenna stared at her slim boyfriend playing a ukulele.

"i do," i said staring down. "if you were to tell me my friends from high school had a band and were traveling all over the country i wouldn't believe you."

"it was such a coincidence on how you and josh met again, while listening to his drumming." jenna giggled. "life is weird sometimes."

"i know right?" i chuckled. "speaking about josh, how was he after our 'breakup'?"

"bad," jenna sighed. "he had too much to deal with, from the incident till hours before you met, he would always blame himself for everything, but he wasn't as bad as when he was in high school."

"really?" i looked at josh who had a wide smile doing his favorite thing. "i didn't know my words could hurt him so much. he felt down for something he didn't do."

"it's none of you guys' fault," jenna turned to look at me. "you didn't know what had happened, and he didn't ask for it. but it's all in the past, what matters is your future with him."

"where do you all want to go eat?" i heard tyler say as they approach us.

"whatever you all want," i said. "maybe something not too heavy for both of you."

"right," tyler said. "show's in about 3 hours."

"let's just get some fast food," josh suggested. "maybe we can go out after the show, or maybe bring some food in."

~

the show had started about half an hour ago, jenna and i were backstage with mark and brad.

most of the things tyler and josh did took me back to those days in high school, when they would perform here-and-there to a whole lot of teenagers: the backflips, screams, the ukulele, i felt my 17 year old self come out of my heart.

"what's wrong?" mark placed his hand on my shoulder.

"oh, nothing," i smiled. "i just—err–feel really nostalgic, this brings back a lot of memories."

"save the tears," mark patted my back. "one day they'll be playing at a huge show, it might happen in a blink of an eye."

"the day the boys play a sold out show in madison square garden, will be the day i'll drown myself in tears." we both chuckled and he left.

"oh joshua dun, i'm so proud of you." i whispered to myself.

and whatever happens the day i clear things up, it won't separate me from you.
