"....Therefore this whole equation simplifies into 4x+3=7! And 7-3 equals 4. 4 divided by 4 equals 1. We add this 1 back to the top of this whole equation. 16x plus 1 equals 17x.....3 into 4 and 7 into 8. Then its 17x equals 8, and the solution is.....8/17." the teacher was writing on the board and the class was writing down notes. I didn't write down any, instead I started doodling in my notes. I looked at the board and warped into not writing notes at all. "Y/n?" I was startled, "Would you like to explain this problem we all worked out step by step please?" everyone looked at me. I heard a snicker from Chloe, I looked at the board. "Actually you solved the equation wrong. You squared 4x, so its......5x+4=8. X equals 12 over 5 (12/5)."
The whole class was silent, "Good eye y/n. Now on to the next problem...."
*LATER*
"Sooooo are you thinking about staying?" Lana asks me. We was in class change, and I saw Lana and came up to her. "I guess maybe I mean...." I put my math and science books in my locker, and search the spines for my history class. "Hey y/n!" I jump and turn around almost hitting who I now realized was Adrien.
Lana grabs my hand which was in mid -air about to slap him. "...?!"
" (. .^)......Uh hey Adrien! You scared me there!" I chuckle nervously as my hand was let go. "Sorry I startled you there, I-I just wanted to remind you that w-we have fencing today!" he clutches the strap of his shoulder-strap bookbag tighter. I look fromt he corner of my eye seeing Lana gone. She has a nerve. "Oh really? I didn't know." I grab my history book, closing and locking my locker. "....You came here just to tell me that?" "No! Its just that I wanted to tell you some people are talking about you...I heard a bad rumour about you." "No wonder I got weird looks all day" I corner the floor, then look back up at him, "What did they say?" we both walk to history class since we had it together-then gym. "I heard about someone at the cafe....everyone there was freaked out by her." "What?" "They said she had some injury on her neck or something. I'm not sure" "Hmm, weird"
