  ✥Chapter 16: The Kiss ✥

Before we could get any further into the conversation a loud thump was felt through our feet, we always kept up in the roof tops so we could get an aerial view. We looked at each other, hearing a low growl. 

"What IS that?" he whispers, jumping at a snarl. 

"That sounds like....a wolf?" 

"A wolf?! How would a- EEP!" a blur of black swept past me, grabbing Chat out of sight. 

"Chat? CHAT!!" I yell. "DOWN HERE!" his distressed-filled-voice echoed from below. I run to the edge and saw a big furry creature he was fighting off. "I'm coming Chat!" I jump off and landed, I took out a weapon from my new belt, "Why a dagger?! Why can't it be a rifle or something?!" before my eyes, the dagger glowed white and morphed into a rifle, before dimming back down to a black rife with ombre f/c and white designs on it. I shot it in the air making the creature jump off of Chat and it went at me. "AHH!" the only thing that kept its drooling mouth from mauling me was the rifle in its mouth, protecting me. 

It looked like a wolf, but its face looked more terrifying, icy blue eyes, its fur was more extreme, as it was in spikes, sticking up. It started to foam at its mouth"What is this thing!? I thought Paris had no wolves!!!" I struggle (the struggle is real). 

"Cataclysm!!" I hear Chat yell. The thing stopped, and fell over beside me unconscious. I stumble up as the rifle morphed into a dagger again. "Noooo....." I look at him, seeing a cut on his shoulder, it ripped some of his outfit. "I just hope it doesn't have rabies...." "That did not look like a wolf with rabies!" "Maybe it was an akumatised wolf?" I ask, "It doesn't have anything on it for it to be akumatised....do you think it was bitten by one of those vampires?"

 "Hmm, I was told that they used to kill animals for nutrition before attacking here. Chat you must listen to me. We could be fighting vampires together as well- remember they drink human blood, they can hear your heart beat, fly, and mostly immune to attacks- they can heal their selves, so you'll have to do them a number so it'll injure them.  Just remember, they don't like garlic or sunlight- their weakness- that's all I know." I breathe,  I take out my garlic powder and throw it on the wolf-like being. the powder sat there for a few seconds, then the wolf set on fire, quickly burning to ashes. 

I turn around and look at Chat, seeing him stare at me with a blank expression. "Chat...I think its better if you just work with Ladybug, go find her and just...just find her!" I turn to run off, "Wait! Shadow, I-wanted to tell you something! I know you think you creep me out but you don't." he holds my hand, I almost jerked it away from instinct, 

"Chat what I do you don't want to see, trust me. It would be too much for anyone in fact." he caresses my cheek, I placed my hand over his, feeling the slight pinch of the tips of his sharp claws. 

"I'm sorry, Chat. But I don't think this partner ship could wo-Mmpf!" my words were cut off by two lips on mine. I froze,  my eyes widened, looking into his, he suddenly leaned away, backing up a few steps.

This boi took my first kiss! I wasn't supposed to kiss anyone until I met someone-or until I was married according to my royal line. That would be the wedding kiss. 

"Chat! Wait!" I reached out to him but it was too late. He hopped off with his staff. I covered my mouth with my fingers, still feeling the weird tingling on my lips. Am...I actually falling for this guy?

*trips over black cat*

I was thinking of making an interracial book, I love reading those and think I should maybe make a try for it?
