"No! No! Manik pass mat aao" Nandini said with a terrified expression Manik walked to her

"Manik aage mat aao" She said pointing a finger to Manik who was still walking to her with determination in his eyes

Not finding way Nandini ran from the corner

"Nandini! Stop there" she heard Manik and she ran, sweat clear on her forehead

"Nandini Murty, I said stop or you will face worse" Manik warned her again

Nandini ran and decended the stairs only to be dashed by Mukti which made her loose her balance and in no second she was on the ground. Closing her eyes she waited for the sound of her bones breaking but it never came as she touched something soft, it was a mattress. Before Nandini could register anything her hands and legs were pinned by Fab4 and Navya

"No!No! Guys, it will burn mujhe nahi lagana, please chodo! Chodo!" She said wiggling in their hold and saw Manik decending the stairs with cotton and anticeptic

"Leave Me!" She said kicking in air making it difficult for Mukti and Aaliya to hold her "Leave me!" she screamed on top of her voice

"Nandini stop it! Do you want my baby to be born deaf" Cabir scolded her pinning her hand. In mean time Manik reached and started dressing the cut she had got while cooking on her right hand and all Nandini did was scream and throw her hands and legs in air

"Mani!" he heard her after he was done dressing. All the while he made sure not to look at her and fall weak but now as he glanced at her pinned on the ground by their friends he felt so bad for her. He saw a tear coming out from corner of her left eye and sliding towards her ear and that's it the next second he freed her and she was in his arms crying and wailing loudly

"Shhhh baby, it's fine, main hu yahi, shhhh" he said cooing her in his arms rocking back and forth

"Mani I hate you" she said still crying as rest were adoring them

"Jal raha hai" she said indicating the cut as she hid more in his chest

"It will burn thoda baby but your wounds need to be tend na or else aur dard hota" he said still rocking her back and forth and rubbing her back

"LEAVE ME!" he heard his son roaring at his friends bring him out of his sweet memory

"I SAID LEAVE ME!" Arav yelled at Abhir who was trying to climb the high compound wall where Arav stood at the top and throwing small pebbles on Abhir
