Their Ways To Show Love

"Manik" she said opening his rooms door seeing him sitting on the floor his back resting his bed, his tears flowing

He look as of he lost something very special but she won't let him lose again, never now

Her daughter was right didn't she always wanted him to be with her and now when he is why isn't she letting him in even when he is trying so hard to break her walls

"Nandini you know what?" Manik said looking blankly at the wall of their pictures, his eyes held pain and tears

"The moment I made the decision to have you back and the kids, I made a decision I will be with them like I would have if everything was fine between us" he said and wipe his tears as she sat besides him listening to him

"Making them food, picking them up from school, waking them up, taking their tantrums or sleeping with them are the things I will do for them tomorrow, I wanted to let them know that how will I be there for them in their lives" he said his eyes were blank now

"I could have take them out for shopping, holidays, family dates, bought things they demand for or just saw them admiring, I would have and I can you know" he turned and looked at her

"But I don't want to do that" he said and again turned to look at the wall

"Because that's not how it will be" he said looking at those pictures

"How much ever one avoids but I will get busy with work and concert" he paused

"And in all that I wanted to let them know that still their Dad will be available for them, take time out for them and for you" he said

"I wanted to tell them how simple yet beautiful life will be everyday" he said then looked at her again she saw unleashed tears in those eyes

"But today I saw them fight because of me"

"I sa them not to talk to each other for the longest time because of me"

"I failed Nandini, I failed again" and those tears made way again breaking her heart

"Shhhh" she said holding his face in her palms and keeping her forehead on hers

"Manik you are over thinking" she said as he vigorously as no

"Yes you are" she said stopping him

"They don't know the whole truth, they just saw what happened between us from my point of view not yours, that's why they are seeing your faults not mine" she said

"But you were never at fault" Manik cut her

"I was Manik! I was" she said but he nooded no

"Shhhh" she again made him stop and got up, standing she forwarded her hand to him gesturing him to hold it, he did it and got up

She climbed the bed and making him do the same, she made him lay and half slept besides him ruffling his hairs

"Sleep Manik, you need it" she whispered to him and hmmmed a song

He hugged her and closed his eyes, let his system fill with her voice or her humming as a deep slumber engulfed his tired body and cried eyes

Feeling his even breaths, Nandini checked he was in deep sleep, untangling herself she made him sleep comfortably and made her way out, someone needs to know the whole truth
