The Proposal

Manik was laying on his in his room. It was very late at night but sleep was far away from him. He had planned everything and done with all the arrangements but then sleep was having it's tough time. Giving up he was going to get up with mind of going to Nandini's house when the door of his room opened.

'The fuck!' he remembered he locked the room.

There they were his lovely daughter and wife, walking droppy eyes inside his room holding each other's hands. And his son followed behind. Arya was dragging her big teddy in other hand and Arav would trip timely as the giant thing came it's way.

Seeing them walking like that to him Manik went all Awww, they were his! All his!

Arya hot on the bed and kept her Teddy at side. His classy room broke it's flavor because of the Teddy. Nandini came and sat besides him and lay back on the bed. Arav cuddled to his mother the next instant. And Arya she kept looking at Manik. Manik lay besides Nandini as Arya slept on him completely. Nandini's hands hugged Manik's waist and Manik felt Arav holding his vest in his fist.

"Good night" the trio wished him

"Good night" he wished them back and placed his hand around Nandini such that it went around Arav to. He peaked Nandini's lips as she muttered something making him laugh. Moments later he closed his eyes as sleep took over him, marking the night for a new and important day.

The hall of Malhotra penthouse was filled with this debate as the kids fought on the color theme.

All the parents were looking at them.

"What's up?" Manik said getting down wearing his jogging suit

"Dad"

Manik went to them as they all greater him in happiness.

"Reha you call me Dad?" Manik was suprised when he heard the Singhaniya kids and the Dhawan kids call him that

"Haan Bhai bhi tho Pops ko Pops bulata hai na" Reha said cutely

"Vaise hi aap bhi humare Dad hue na" Ruhan explained as a wide smile spread on Manik's face

"Mamu main bhi Dad bilaungi" Samara said

"Main bhi" Rudra seconded

"Dada" Samara pointed to Abhi who blew her Kisses

"Dad" she pointed to Manik who held the hand she pointed and kissed he plam

He kissed everyones foreheads

"Thank you" he said chocking with emotions, this feeling was so surreal for him

"Good morning!" Arya greeted everyone while decending the stairs fully awake as a half sleeping Arav followed closely

"Good morning" she got a collective respons from all

"Ari Di see Dada" Samara pointed to Abhi "and Dad" she pointed to Manik making Arav giggle as he tightly hugged her kissing her nose

"Sama is cute" he said making Samara giggle

"Bhai looks mess" Samara said making Arav laugh more and others adore them

"We are home!" Raqesh entered and was closely followed by his parents

Everyone greeted each other and settled down for breakfast, now, all were present on the dining table.
