Jungkook

After only two weeks, this fake gang that the group was coming up with, they decided to name it LiveEvil since Tae found it cool that the name has the same spelling forwards and backwards, was all finished. From the symbol to the fake members everything was panning out and it would only be a matter of time until the official plan would begin.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was acing his classes while simultaneously spoiling his angel as much as possible to Taehyung's annoyance.

It was becoming increasingly difficult to hold himself back ever since Tae let him call him angel. He found himself unconsciously gravitating towards Taehyung, wrapping an arm around his waist, tugging him closer, or even sometimes pecking him softly on his forehead, cheek, and hands. His way of counting the days phased from day and night to with Taehyung or not with Taehyung.

But he couldn't help but wonder if Taehyung maybe possibly had even an inkling of feelings for him as well especially since he would get extremely flustered whenever Jungkook would call him angel or be excessively touchy. Jungkook found it adorable, of course, but it also made him curious and hopeful.

Today was one of those days when Jungkook had only one class in the morning which he finished and he had the entire rest of the day to hang out with his Hyungs or especially Tae. It was also the day that Jungkook decided he was going to do it. He was finally going to ask Tae...

If they could room together.

Jungkook was nervous. He didn't know if Taehyung would blow up in his face or-

"I'd love to, Jungkookie!"

Jungkook gaped at Taehyung, his grip on the boy loosened in surprise from their position on the couch.

"Shh, focus on the movie." Yoongi-Hyung reprimanded them.

The two were currently cuddled together on the couch alongside the other Hyungs, holding their weekly movie night.

"Really?" Jungkook whispered, careful to keep his voice down.

"Yeah, I'd love to...after all of this drama is over, the children are safe, I can finally stop worrying, and I can actually afford to pay my share of the rent."

Jungkook's hopeful expression fell and he couldn't help but chide himself for getting his hopes up. It was just like Taehyung to say something like that.

"But Hyung~"

If you asked Jungkook just five months ago whether he's used aegyo before he probably would have glared and sued you. But Taehyung just changed something in him.

"But Jungkook-ah~"

Jungkook couldn't help the pout that settled on his face as Taehyung used the same strategy as him.

"Hyung~ You know that I can't go against you if you use aegyo."

"Sorry, Jungkook-ah, but you know my reasons, don't you?"

Jungkook sighed. Of course he knew. "Fine, but you'll still stay overnight sometimes, right?"

"Of course!" Taehyung replied with his signature blinding boxy grin.

And how could Jungkook argue against that? Still, he couldn't help the small sigh that escaped from his mouth.

"Aww, I'm sorry."

And then to Jungkook's utter surprise Taehyung leaned forward ever so slightly and softly pecked his cheek before blushing bright red and turning away, covering his face with the sleeves of his sweater.

Jungkook stared at the movie in a daze, unable to process anything. For an entire hour until the movie was over he stayed in the same position, completely frozen.

"Jungkook? You good?" Hoseok-Hyung asked worriedly, snapping Jungkook out of his trance.

"Huh? What?"

Taehyung made a move to get up from the couch, but Jungkook unconsciously tightened his grip around his waist.

"Angel, you made me miss the entire movie!" he grumbled, burying his face in Taehyung's shoulder, making the boy squirm.

"Gosh, can't you two keep your hands off each other for one second?" Jimin groaned.

"No." Jungkook immediately replied, looking up to smirk deviously at his Hyung.

Jimin glared back. "I want my best friend back. Taehyung-ah, we're having a sleepover today before the big kidnapping tomorrow."

Jungkook frowned. 99% of him wanted to argue back, but Taehyung looked so giddy that he held himself back.

"Fine. But tomorrow since the kids'll be here, we'll have a huge massive sleepover and you can introduce me to the children."

"It's not like Tae needs your permission anyways." Jimin pointed out with a teasing smile.

Jungkook simply glared in response.

"Thanks Jungkookie, you're the best!" Taehyung grinned, giving Jungkook a quick hug before forcefully getting up from the couch.

Jungkook sighed. He really couldn't stay in a bad mood for long around Taehyung.

Taehyung

"So, soulmate, how do you feel? In just a few hours, MinWoo, YeRan, SeoJun, and MinJi will be by your side, safe."

Taehyung paused to smile at the question. The two were laying side by side on Jimin's bed.

"It's like a dream." he answered honestly. "A happy dream that I never want to wake up from. I never imagined I would ever be able to find a solution to my nightmarish life but then I met Jungkook and everything just seems to fall perfectly."

"Tae, you don't have to answer, but do you like Jungkook?" Jimin asked with a serious tone.

"Of course! He calls me angel but really he's the one who's like a guardian angel to me."

"I understand, but I meant romantically."

Taehyung stopped. Oh. He nervously twiddled his fingers and thought for a moment before replying.

"I want to. I want to let myself like him, he makes it so easy to just fall and fall deeper and deeper. But there's still a small part of me that whispers sad things into my heart, things that make me feel insecure, like I'm not good enough for him."

Taehyung held his breath as he waited for Jimin to react who seemed to be in a thoughtful trance.

"Taehyung, I understand where you're coming from, but you have to remember that love and relationships have nothing to do with worth. I thought the same about Yoongi-Hyung, you know? He was older than me, more experienced, so perfect, I thought of him like this untouchable idol, but doing so not only hurt the me who couldn't love Min Yoongi as a person, but it also hurt Yoongi-Hyung who just wanted to be loved as a person. So once I got over that, I found myself so much happier."

Taehyung let Jimin's words sink in before he shyly smiled and turned over to wrap his arms around his best friend.

"Careful, I don't want Jungkook to suddenly come bursting in because of his jealous tantrums."

Taehyung chuckled in response. "Very funny, as if Jungkook would get jealous of me."

"Why do I even bother."
