Ginataang Hipon Recipe

Ingredients: 

* 1/2 kilo shrimp, cleaned

* 1 bundle string beans (sitaw) 5 pcs

* 1/2 slice kalabasa, cubes

* 2 cups coconut cream or milk 

* 1 medium white onion, sliced

* 3 tablespoons alamang

* 4 cloves garlic, crushed

* salt and pepper to taste

* 3 tablespoons cooking oil

Directions:

1.) In a large pan, heat oil over medium fire.

2.) Saute garlic until lightly brown and add onion until becomes transparent.

3.) Toss in shrimp and saute for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside. (shrimp should not be overcooked and turn rubbery)

4.) On the same pan, add alamang in sauteed garlic and onion then pour coconut milk. Mix until incorporated. Let it boil.

5.) Add squash and cook for 8 to 12 minutes or until tender. Add string beans. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

6.) Add the shrimp back in the pan, season with salt and pepper to taste. 

7.) Serve hot and enjoy.
