Slenderman is Sally's father figure, and is very protective of her. Admittedly, he does spoil her a little. He has a huge weakness for her. However, this isn't without reason. Slenderman, while normally immune to sob stories, was heartbroken by Sally's past and wants to ensure her happiness and safety for the rest of her life. Although he does overdo it.
