"Hey, baby sister, I'd like to know what you and that Paul guy were up to at the wedding yesterday," Emmett stated as he slung his arm around Iris.
Iris stared up at him with a smile. "Nothing, big brother. We weren't doing anything at all."
"She's lying!" Jasper shouted from upstairs.
Iris huffed. "Tattletale," she muttered.
"I need to take care of you and make sure you're still innocent and pure."
She rolled her eyes. "Why do I have to stay pure? I'm as old as you! Rosalie and you go at it very loudly. Don't think we don't know what you two are up to," she said as she shoved Emmett's arm off to put her hands on her hips.
Emmett's eyes widened. "Where is this attitude coming from?"
"Your mom."
Next thing Iris knew, Emmett was putting Iris in a headlock. She was struggling to get the man off of her.
"Get your buffalo self off of me! I'm going to tell Rose when she comes back home!" Iris threatened.
Emmett immediately stopped and narrowed his eyes at her. "You wouldn't."
"Yes, I would. Don't test me, Emmett. Now, Paul is coming over in a few minutes. I'm going to finish helping Mom in the kitchen. You better not break anything - and that includes Paul."
The two could hear Esme's chuckles from the kitchen.
Emmett huffed. "Fine, but if my team loses, then I can't guarantee anything."
Iris rolled her eyes. "You break Paul, I murder you. You break the furniture, Mom murders you. In the end, you're getting murdered if you break something."
"Alright, alright," Esme said, "Iris, come help me make sandwiches for Paul and you, before you start fighting with your brother again."
"Gladly, Mom," Iris called out as she ran to the kitchen.
