As of before...

"The evacuation shelter!" I answered.

"Right, let us go!" Genos nodded.

Your POV:

On the way, Genos had activated his briefcase, the tougher bigger set of arms.

As soon as we arrived at the shelter, someone had been thrown outside, falling and hitting the concrete unconscious.

It was the same guy who welcomed us in the room where Sensei, Genos and I passed for the Hero Registry, Snek; I checked his pulse.

"He'll be okay," I nodded.

We saw a giant circle opening high on the shelter where Snek was blasted from.

After a jump, we stood high at the opening--Genos on the left, me on the right--holding onto the sides of the shelter to keep our balance.

My eyes widened at a green muscular sea monster with sharp teeth wearing a crown and royal red cape like a king's.

So he really is a king. I wonder if he knows The Sea Princess. They look somewhat alike, just without the tentacles.

The people around him looked at us desperately. "Why so quiet all of a sudden?" The monster asked.

I noticed the three claws wrapping around Genos' cheeks again, and my hand slowly touches the katana holster, my thumb resting on the hand guard ready again.

The monster's ears twitched as if it sensed us.

"Are you one of the Seafolk?" Genos begins.

"What if I am?" The monster asks, not turning around just yet.

With a yellow glow, Genos jumps down, landing low with a hand touching the ground while I waited up here.

"Other soldiers..." The monster mumbled, turning around.

"I am here to eliminate you," Genos claims as his whole body lightened yellow. Rockets suddenly ignite before his fist met The Sea King's right cheek.

He then blasts a gigantic hole through the shelter when he forced The Sea King out of the place.

My eyes widened at the massive power. Shit, he could incinerate my kagune if we were against each other.

I then softly landed next to him as the light disappeared as he had just... defeated The Sea King?!

And in one punch? Jeez, he's really following in Sensei's footsteps.

Genos then looks at me before his gaze was at the people. But my eyes couldn't keep off him as I was able to see him clearly under the shelter's light.

His hair was drenched wet from the rain. He had those claws by his cheeks again as his eyes looked expressionless in a tough way.

I mentally groaned. Of course he looks handsome with wet hair. Is there anything else that ISN'T flawless about him?

"Was he the last of them?" Genos asks the people. The silent crowd stared at him stunned.

"WOW!" They all suddenly exclaimed.

"Awesome! Amazing!" They praised.

"Yeah, Genos," I smile at him, "that was pretty..."

My voice pauses as I noticed something shadowy rising. "GENOS!" I immediately yell, eyes widened.

The Sea King grabbed one of Genos' arm and punches him, breaking the skin on the right side of his face. The floor breaks as his body drags across.
