Years have went by, and now you were carrying his second child. You loved your daughter dearly, but you hated Rei. Maika was your four year old daughter. She was the spitting image of Rei, but you couldn't help but love her.

"Mama! Do you think it'll be a boy or a girl?" Maika asked with curiosity in her voice. You smiled weakly and answered. "Hopefully, it'll be a girl. You would like having a younger sister, I think." You said while combing your fingers through her thin blue hair. Maika smiled brightly.

That smile faded quickly when she heard the front door open. Maika may have been young, but she wasn't stupid. She knew how unhappy you were with Rei, and seeing you upset because of him all the time has made her hate him.

"I'm home!" Rei said, walking into the living room with a large smile on his face. Maika glared at him with large purple eyes. The hatred steaming off of her.

She had a plan, and she would put it into action tonight.

Maika made sure Rei was asleep completely before reaching under her pillow and pulling out a large clean knife. She looked over at her sleeping mother before making her final decision.

Your eyes shot open, looked over only to see Rei a bloody mess.

You knee it was just going to be a repeating cycle, but you couldn't help but smile.

"We're safe now, mama."
