Anna's pov
"Hailey... Can I get a ride with you home" I asked as we walked out of the school compound to where Lee packed her car
"Of course...what about Henry?" She asked
"What do you mean" I asked slightly confused
" He was supposed to take you home after school right?... where is he?" She asked as she opened the driver's door to enter while I took the passenger's seat.
A question I couldn't answer myself
"Uh...I don't know about that maybe he went to do something urgent or... I don't wanna talk about it" I really didn't want to talk about it because I was really upset
"Alright then...but one last question" she started the car and looked at me with a huge grin on her face i Knew she wouldn't end the topic without a 'one last question'.
I chuckled "go on Lee"
"Can you tell me about you and Henry like...do you like him cause I'm starting to get jealous cause you hang out with him more than you do with me" she said while driving
I Laughed at what she said "awww don't get too jelly Lee cause I love you and i like him" oh wait what did I just say
"Oh em gee annie bear you admitted it finally" she squealed loudly
I Laughed at her childishness
"Okay okay I admit that I like him a lot but-" she Didn't let me finish my sentence before she talked
"Then go tell him Ann what are you waiting for" she said grinning
"That's what I can't do" I said
"Why Ann what's the problem"she asked with concern in her voice
"If I tell him I may scare him off and our friendship will be ruined because I couldn't keep my mouth to myself" I said sighing
"That's true" she said nodding her head
"So I'm gonna wait for him to tell me first then I'll tell him I like him too and I hope it could be soon" I smiled at myself
"Yeah that's the best wait for him to say it first"she smiled at me
Suddenly the car stopped I check out the window and saw that I was already at home I opened the door so as Hailey
"So see you on Monday then" she smiled
"Yeah" we hugged
"I want details on Monday you know what I mean" she winked at me and I laughed
"Alright Lee " she walked to her car and drove off
I laid on my bed I checked my phone it was 4:21 in the afternoon.
My mind drift of to Henry and why he ditched me.. what could have made him leave school during school hours at least he could have told me that he won't be able to take me home today instead making me search the whole school for him.
