I Knew It

Zach's POV

"How could you do this to me?" I asked, blinking back tears.

"I'm sorry. It was a mistake." She said, Justin had already left, no longer wanting to be in this awkward conversation.

"I have everything up for you. My house. My family. My friends." I said, no longer having control of my tears.

  "Zach, it means nothing to me." She said firmly, reaching to touch my arm.

  I flinched, "Maybe, does he?" I asked.

  Suddenly an eerie silence filled the room.

  "I knew it." I said before walking out.

  "Wait! Zach! I did it for Jessica! That's it. I swear." She said, lips quivering.

  "You would have sex with a guy you don't even like for a girl that has tortured you in the past but for like what- 2 months, you've been friends?!" I asked rhetorically.

  She sobbed into my chest, "Y-Yes, I'm sorry."

  I pushed her away and just left.
