Chapter two (✔️)

Hi

Recap: Laksh is broken and confused. Ragini is giving him the needed support.

Laksh was walking behind of Ragini, he had no idea, how this all could happen. He was broken and looked down on the streets, when he collided with Ragini.

"Ouch!" She turns with a pout face, "Laksh, what happened? Can't you see?" She was trying to rub her back, but couldn't reached the spot. Laksh shook his head in disbelief, he had formed a smile on his face and slowly comes near her to rub her back.

"Ragini I don't know why, but sometimes you behave like a child, I didn't hurt you much. Just ram you by mistake!" He places his hand a bit tight on her back to give her a pressure.

She turns and hits him; "Laksh! Stupid!"

Laksh smiles and move, a little bit backwards in fake fear, "Ragini please! Don't hurt me!" He hold his hands up in defending way.

Ragini made a face, "Laksh! Don't forget I'm the one, who is helping you! Other than me, there is no one else here, trusting you!" She turns and crossed her arms stamping in a speed that Laksh felt hurt, "Ragini! Sorry!"

Ragini stopped and looked at him, "Come, I have to find a way."

Laksh looked at her, "What kind of way?"

Ragini looked at him, "Laksh! Where do you want to stay? On the street or at my place?" She was glaring at him with an anger face expression, while tapping with her index finger on her upper arm.

Laksh gulps. What yaar, she just changed from the innocent to the angry one. I liked my cute Ragini, this one is scaring me... He awkwardly smiles, "Ragini you are so nice! Absolutely right. You have to find a way to help me! Currently / unfortunately you are my only and last hope to get justice!" He said in a lame way and she looked at him widen her eyes, "Laksh!!!"

Laksh wasn't there anymore, "Ragini please don't!"

He was a few meters away, even in a moment like this he knows how to smile and annoy other's, especially Ragini. Ragini laughs looking at him, "Laksh come! I won't do anything!" She said cutely and he agrees.

Both walked to Baadi, without uttering a word. She looked at him, but now his smile has faded. Ragini stopped and was watching him walking his way alone and lost.

Why Swara you didn't let me speak, I had come late, but I come. I could have stayed away then you all could blame for playing with all of you. But I come to the wedding, our wedding! You didn't thought once to let me explain myself you just thought about your reputation, but what is with me? Didn't you saw my injuries?

She heeded toward him and hold his hand, "Laksh?"

Laksh stopped and looked at her. He shook his head and wiped his tears away, "What Ragini?" His voice was broken and his eyes were red, he was thinking of Swara...

Ragini caresses his cheek and shook her head, "No Laksh, there is no need to hide your tears, at least not from me!"

She comes closer, "You said I'm your friend,
then why do you behave with me like a stranger. Prank na! You will feel better!" She pushes him and he smiles lightly.

Ragini doesn't know why, but he intertwined his hand with hers; "Let's Go Ragini, you have to find a shelter for me!" Ragini nods and both reached Baadi.

Shekhar was looking at them, "Ragini what is this? Why are you thinking that I will keep him? He has played his game with you and Swara!" Shekhar was hell angry and was showing it with a loud voice as he wasn't talking to them, but shouting at them.

Ragini frighten as she never had heard her father before talking in that volume, "Papa...?"

Laksh could feel her fear as she was pressing his hand and her nails were digging into his flesh. Laksh releases his grip from her and looked at Shekhar, "Uncle please don't scold her, she just wanted to help me. I haven't played any game with anyone. I have told you that I don't love Ragini, but Swara. And I want to marry her, yet I got kidnapped and all are blaming me, false accusing me for betrayal. But I haven't done anything and even if, then there is no need to scold her for it. Ragini is just helping her friend!"

He looked at her and pleaded in front of her. "Please Ragini, don't fight for me with your family!" She looked at him and was about to say something, but he turns away.

Ragini felt bad, she looked at her father, "Papa I told you I'm ready to accept Sumi, but Daadi refused to it. I always gave you a hand, when you needed it. Today I'm asking you for a little bit support! Can Laksh stay with us?!" She looked at him with a determined gaze.

Shekhar looked at her. He couldn't believe his ears and eyes. His daughter Ragini, who has never rejected his order is questioning him and  teaching him, what she had done and he hasn't done yet. He is her father and has raised her up. She is his blood, "Ragini mind your language! I know what I have to do and what I don't need to do! You want my support, but don't forget even Swara is my daughter. If I will help him today, what will Sanskaar say or do tomorrow with Swara. Have thought about this?" Shekhar glares at them.

Ragini shook her head, "He was ready to marry her to save her from humiliation. There is nothing he would do to her! Please Papa. Swara is your daughter, but me too!"

Ragini was fighting for Laksh and he was seeing the tears in her eyes. Those tears were ignored by Shekhar again.

Laksh shook his head, he hold Ragini's arm and pulls her close, "Ragini please, stop it! There is no need to fight for me! I knew he wouldn't help me, as he thinks I did it purposely, but that's wrong. I'm happy that I have one friend, who is trusting me! Thank you"

Laksh wipes her tears away and left from there.

Ragini shook her head and looked at Shekhar with anger and hate, "I have always supported you and stood by your side! You know, it was you, who is the real reason of all the mess! In your youth you had no control!"

Thaadh!

Ragini was holding her cheek, but she didn't cared much. She just left from there and went to her room.
