ABOUT
I am Aurelia and this is My Poetic Paradise.
I am just another teenage girl who tries to find an escape to her emotions through writing. Since childhood, I have been a person with a constant near saturation emotional level, that threatens to burst out of control at slightest things.
It was in grade 7, when I first tried my hand at poetry. I found that writing poems provided a better outlet to my feelings. It helped me in expressing my deepest desires and emotions easily. For me, poetry turned into a matter of life, not just a matter of beautiful language. In grade 9, I decided to showcase my poems online on Wattpad and get constructive feedback so as to improve my work further. So, this is how, My Poetic Paradise came into being.
I don't really know if you have already guessed the inspiration behind this book's title. It's inspired by the title of the poem - Paradise Regained by John Milton. The title of the poem got stuck in my mind and I ended up naming my book using it. Paradise Regained emphasizes the idea of reversal of the loss of Paradise. Almost similarly, My Poetic Paradise is about a paradise that I gained. A place where my pen is the mightiest, my words are most powerful and my thoughts are the one that matter!
So, go ahead! Explore this paradise fully and feel free to peruse and construe its elements. Your feedbacks, criticisms and comments are welcomed with open arms.
I have poured out my efforts and emotions in writing these poems, so, please don't try to plagiarize the whole poems or a part of them for your own selfish use.
