Chapter 22

17 launched a flurry of punches as Greed just blocked them all. Greed then grabbed one of 17s' fists and slammed him into the ground, causing a crater. Kami then landed a punch in Greeds gut, causing him to be sent back a few feet and freeing 17 from Greeds grip. Greed looked down at his stomach... a dent was there. Greed looked up at Kami as he helped 17 get up, but he didn't see Linka as he was hit with a giant golden hand, sending him flying "Holy shit, that guy blocked all my punches," said 17

"Well I think he's dead now, considering that Linka hit him," said Kami as they started to hear laughing

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Yes, this is it! The first of many battles to decide the strongest!" shouted Greed as he put his hands together and separated them. A large double-sided spear then appeared, both ends looked like an axe blade as they curved and shined in the light. Greed then whirled it around as he pointed one end at the three of them. But he took one hand off his weapon and stuck his thumb in his mouth started started to blow. The dent in his stomach then disappeared as he put his hand back on his weapon and charged at them. Greed sent a downward swing at 17, who caught the blade as Kami went to punch Greed, only for the ladder to duck and punch him in the arm, breaking it. Greed then swung around 17, who was still holding the blade, into Kami as they were both sent flying. As they did so, Kami extended his other arm while he bit down on 17s' shirt and stopped them from going any further. While they were away, Linka sent a giant golden hand at Greed, who put up a hand and stopped it with ease. Linkas' eyes widened as Greed launched himself at her and spun his spear around. Linka was still surprised as she didn't have enough time to block the swing. But before it could connect, Kami and 17 appeared in front of her and punched Greed in the chest, sending him away from them "WHAT THE HELL?!" shouted 17

"Who is this guy?" asked Kami

"H-he block it... he blocked my First Strike," mumbled Linka loud enough for them to hear

"Hm, I see... then I guess, I'M GOING TO HAVE TO GO ALL OUT!" shouted Kami as he started powering up

"W-what's g-going on?" asked 17 as the ground started shaking

"DURING MY TIME, I HAVE ONLY USED THIS FORM ONCE! SINCE THEN I HAD FOUGHT NO ONE THAT HAS FORCED ME TO USE THIS FORM!" shouted Kami as Linka and 17 back away toward 23. They watched as a green and blue spiral beam shot from Kamis' location and into the sky. The Earth shook violently as Snail continued to scream at the top of his lungs. Greed stared in awe as Snail continued to power up while Linka and 17 watched to see what their Kami could do. When it was over, there stood Snail, with horns in place of antennae, and dark blue skin. His eyes glowed an orange fire and the patches on his skin glowed a neon-blue. He had pale-green lightning shooting all over his body as he had a serious look on his face "I must apologize for taking so so long, it's been nearly 100 years since I last used this form and I'm still trying to find a way to make me turn into it faster," he said as his voice echoed with power and dominance

"So, this is what you're capable of, eh?" said Greed

"Yes, this is the result of years training, I call it... Namekian Demon Mode," said Snail

"Namekian Demon Mode, well then 'Demon' show me what you got!" shouted Greed as Snail disappeared. Greed then felt pain in his back as Snail started to punch him. He then appeared in front of him and kicked one of his knees, breaking it. Greed grunted as he dodged a punch to the face from Snail and spun, kicking Snail in the face with his broken leg. Snail was sent away as Greed landed on his good foot and looked at him "You managed to damage me, I must say I'm impressed... BUT DON'T GET COCKY!" shouted Greed as he sliced his broken leg off and placed a hand on the stump. He then flexed as the armor showed veins and a new leg shot from the stump. Snail looked surprised as Greed started to kick the air "There, now show me more!" shouted Greed as they clashed. Each strike caused the Earth to shake and made the surrounding area quake. They then punched each other away as they rolled on the ground. Snail stood up to show that he was bleeding, but it soon disappeared as his wounds healed. Greed stood up to show multiple dents in his armor as he popped his shoulders. Greed then crouched down as he pushed off the ground and started running at Snail, who then started to through green ki blasts at him. Greed twirled his spear around in a fashion that split and redirected the ki blasts as he got closer to Snail. Realizing what was about to happen, he dug his feet into the ground as he gathered up his energy. Greed drew closer as a small green ki ball formed in Snails mouth. When Greed was close enough to strike, Snail unleashed his energy and fired a giant ki blast from his mouth, destroying nearly everything in front of him in a giant beam on green ki. When it was over, Snail kneeled on the ground and turned to normal "I-Is he dead?" he asked as he felt pain in his chest
