She was stunning, she looked like a model. Perfect body, clear skin, gorgeous blonde hair, it was hard to admit you envied her. Gavin had left her forever ago but here she was.

"And who's the downgrade"?
She turned her head violently, while her blonde curls cascaded down her neck.

Did she just fucking call me a downgrade? Oh this bitch is gonna get the shit beat out of her

"An upgrade, actually".
Gavin responded as he grabbed your hand from across the table.

"Oh really"?
She sneered at you with her flawless blue eyes.

"I mean really, it's nice to see you've finally moved on".
She sighed and flicked her hair obnoxiously and Gavin let go of your hand.

"He was really attached to me".
She pouted sarcastically.

"Thats hard to believe".
You chuckled under your breath and Rachel scrunched her nose.

"How much is he paying you"?
She roared raising an eyebrow.

"Fuck off Rachel".
Gavin exhaled sharply.

"No really! I'm curious to know"!
You chortled sarcastically.

"I'm not some sort of prostitute if that's what you're asking".
You tilted your head innocently.

Rachel was about to speak but you quickly interrupted.

"I work with him actually, best damn detective in the precinct".
You smiled shyly.

"Oh so you're forced to see him everyday, no wonder you're into him".
She giggled bluntly.

"I thought work place relationships were highly frowned upon".
She knitted her eyebrows together pretending to be confused.

"You know, I think you should just leave".
You suggested but Rachel completely ignored you.

"Look Gav, I may have cheated on you but I have my reasons".
She stared coldly into Gavin's eyes.

"What reasons"?
He growled, his anger building up inside of him.

"You never paid any attention to me, ever"!
She scowled.

"I was working"!
He yelled back.

"While you stayed at home to pursue your music career which by the way, hasn't taken off yet."
He added, he voice shaking in anger.

"I'm glad I left you".
She bellowed.

As gorgeous as she was, her despicable personality made you physically cringe. She was toxic, a snake, a disgusting little worm. You wished she'd just leave you 2 alone.

"Come on honey, their ignorance is giving me a headache".
She gritted her teeth while she sped off with her plastic boy toy.

"What the fuck"?
You mumbled once Rachel finally left.

"I've just met her and I already despise her".
You frowned watching Rachel sit down at table on the other side of the restaurant.
