Khan saw the kid from the corner of his eye as he slammed his locker shut. He muttered a quick good-bye and an excuse for why he was leaving so fast to his friends, Hulk and Berg. Khan knew what was coming. He felt bad for the kid, but not bad enough to deal with Hulk and Berg. He hightailed it out before his friends even noticed the poor kid. He couldn't think of any place to go, so he just went home.
