I hope this book doesn't flop LMFAOOOOO
Riah
Daydreaming in school about when she'll see her best friend beside her in class again, Riah was a very lone person. She had no friends, the only person she'd talk to would be Stokeley, but since he has been away, there's been no one to talk to. She listens to 90s- early 00's soul and R&B. If she does listen to any music of this generation it would be Daniel Caesar, Kali Uchis, Frank Ocean, Tyler the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Childish Gambino, Blood Orange. Maybe even some Lil Durk, Lil Yachty, Kodak Black, or 21 Savage.
Stokeley
Stokeley is a very unbothered person. But if something happened to someone he loved, he's down to protect them. He loves all types of music, but his favorite is old rap. He's one of the funniest persons you could ever meet, and one of the sweetest. He's such a loving person, but he covers it up most of the time so people wouldn't call him soft. He does a lot of things he shouldn't, but he doesn't care so he does it anyways...that's why he's in juvie.
Jahseh
Jahseh is very organic and smart, yet he dropped out in 9th grade. He's always the one you go to when you need advice. He is very loving, but he stays away from love because he gets attached too easily; he's been hurt too many times to make that mistake again. Not receiving love gets a negative output, which makes Jahseh do things he shouldn't. He's in Juvie due to way more things than Stokeley.
They both clicked and are like brothers now.Coolie
Stokeley's only cousin. They've been there for eachother since birth. Coolie is a little more sneaky than his cousin though, considering he's just as bad as Stokeley but hasn't been caught in his actions. He is one of the plugs (1/5) in Broward so everyone knows him. He checks up on Riah every now and then because he knows how close her and Stokeley are.
