"So you are telling me that you called me back from my holidays, which are now cut short, only because you wanted to send me on a stupid secret mission." I almost glare at the grumpy old man in front of me, and yeah sometimes i call him my dad.

But i just received a side glare and he continue to scrabble randomly in his notes.

"I told you I wanted a break." I almost shout from this side of his mahogany desk.

"Break? For what? A break for toying  girls around the world?" My dad glare back at me and I look at him in disbelief.

Does he really think that low of me?

I can't believe why I'm still here when my own dad can't believe me. If My own dad doesn't, then who will?

"Look dad.." I started.

"It's sir to you here" he snapped.

Silences stretched the awkwardness between us.

"Sir I just wanted to say that.." I was again cut off by my single dad.

"It's okay.  As always.  You never failed to disappoint me.  So here we go again. " he smiled sadly and get up on his feet.

"Dad I didn't mean that" I too stand on my feet so and approach toward my one and only family in this world.

I know he loves me. He cares for me but it's too hard for him to show it. I never saw my mom. He is whom I have looked up every time. My role model. He is everything to me and I know I'm everything to him.

But I just don't like his ways.

But one thing I cannot do is, fight with him.

I sigh.

"Okay sir. What's your order for me?" I bring out my very professional side on my upper layer. I actually noticed the hidden smile which my dad tried his best not to show up.

"Now finally we are talking some business. " he beams as he took his seat back again and shuffle his notes.

I took this time to glance around the room. Front Wall is fully  covered with frames. All frames consists of his achievements and his hidden struggles through out his life.

Believe me, being an only kid of country's best detective can't be considered easy. My dad feared me being kidnapped or murdered everyday  since my birth.

Another wall consist of a full large glass window showing us the beautiful greenery out in the world.

Third wall consist mostly of some extraordinary paintings made by my mother. My mother used to paint.

Then my eyes landed upon the last wall. It consist of frames.

But empty.

Only one frame which is filled was my degree.

My dad arrange all the frames in the hope that one day my achievements will give competition to his.

And I just realise how terrible job I'm doing in my life's most important goal which was to make my father proud.

I heard a throat being cleared and I look down at my dad.

I never noticed he had slide some documents towards me on his desk.

"This case is quite mysterious. As I have mentioned it in earlier meetings in which obviously you weren't present, we all know that she is involved some underground activities but it's quite difficult to pin point where? And what? So what I want you to do is. I want every detail on her. Her business legal or illegal and I want her behind the bars soon. She might be less harmful but can help us in getting to those who are very much harmful." my dad finished.

"Why can't we just put her behind the bar if we know she did something wrong?" I questioned as I sit back.

"That's the point.  We don't have anything or any evidence against her. The major point is that our main target is to capture her, alive, and let her open all the underground secrets we can use." I ended again.

I look at the documents in front of me and almost laugh.

"you mean to say  this.... this girl who is smiling back at me, shinny eyes, innocent adorable thing, is dangerous. Nice joke, next one please" I laughed.

" she is in the top most gangster list." His one sentence make me shut.

Then how we don't have any evidence.

"Sanyukta" I check her name on my tongue. Sounds perfect. Match perfectly with her innocent face.

"Your time starts now." I heard my dad and he began to get into his work again.

My heart almost blooms with confidence because there are very rare chances when he call me by my name.

"Good luck, randhir"
