We are currently cleaning the ransacked office . I will really pity Kunikida-san , although i did manage to lessen the damage , it will still cost quite a lot . Condidering the holes on the wall and floor , broken desk , broken windows , etc .

"Harunocchi~ can you get this marble out~?" Ranpo-san ask sitting crosslegged on the desk. Raising a Ramune to her.

"Yes, please wait a moment" Haruno-san kindly say with a smile.

She then goes to the kitchen and break it with a hammer , successfully taking the marble out and give it to Ranpo-san.

"Marble is nice right~" Ranpo-san say

"Yes, Marble is nice..." Haruno-san answer .

Why are they talking about marble so intently...

"Kunikida~ i will go for a job now~" Ranpo-san say as he jump of the desk .

"Ah yes! About the murder case right?" Kunikida-san ask politely.

"Indeed! Seriously the police here can't catch a criminal without me! Still...my Ultra-Deduction is the best in the agency after all! Or even the whole nation . It's no wonder that everyone rely on it so much!" He continue to brags non-stop . Everyone keep phraising him so much . Even Kunikida-san .

Hm~ i guess his ability is that good . It would be interesting to see it in action.

"Yes Ranpo-san! Oi brat , Hirabayashi go and help Ranpo-san" Kunikida-san say turning to us.

"If i can stop doing this troublesome things , then gladly~" I say as i stand up and pat my clothes .

"Ehhhh! M-me as a detective assistant?! I can't handle the responsibility!!" Atsushi-kun yell in panic .

Seriously this boy...he should not be so pessimistic!

"Hey! Don't think of me as some second-rate detective! I don't need any assistant!" Ranpo-san say proudly

"Hm? Then why?" I ask casually.

"You see~ i don't know how to ride a train."

We soon arrive at the location which is at a riverside . But i wonder , Ranpo-san really don't know how to ride a train . Is it that he is useless without his ability or it is an act?

Ha~♡ even though the agency have many troublesome things , it is full of interesting things . I don't know how to feel about this .

"You're late agents"

Hearing the voice i look up to see a 40 or 50 year old man that look really stern . He says that he is Minoura . And has took this case from Yasui who is supposed to be the one investigating.

"So we no longer needs you or the agency" he says.

Uwah...this kind of people are very troublesome...

"How idiot! This kind of difficult case should be solve by me who is a great detective" Ranpo-san counter smiling like a fox happily.

"This time we won't be needing your help . As the victim is my surbordinate" he states a little gloomy .

He open the cover to let us see the body . As soon as i see it my eyes turn cold. It reminds me of mother lying lifeless on the floor , bleeding .

Atsushi-kun freaks out a little looking at it , while Ranpo-san take off his hat , placing it on his chest , bowing a little , i also close my eyes bowing a little .
