i'm a tiger in so many ways
alive at night
shadowed by day
the sun my skin
the stripes the darkness
permanent tattoos upon my skin
my mind is helpless
driven by blood
my claws my knife
my skin my body
blood streaming to make a flood
it may as well end my life
the descending blood makes me calm
the scars on my body
are my stripes
the sun my skin
the claws my knife
i'm painted in pain
black for the darkness
red for a vein
