Have you ever felt your heart sink
Felt your words escape your lips
Seen clouds that force you not to think
And felt caught under whips
Stinging your skin, pounding in your head
Trying so hard not to cry
Feeling empty, dull and dead
And you have no idea why
Author's Note:
Sometimes dark clouds come on over and sit right above your head. There's no rain, and you know the sun is just behind those clouds, but you can't help but feel down. This is the poem for when I feel sad, but I don't know why.
