Introduction

Dear Diary,

Hi. My name is Philip Hamilton. It's nice to meet you! I've always wanted to have a diary and now I have one. I don't think I'll write much about my life, though, so I'll probably just write my poems in here with each entry. Also, I don't really want to call you Diary, so I might ask people for ideas on who I can pretend to write to instead of "Diary." Not that you're not great, Diary. It would kinda just make me feel more like I'm writing to a friend than in a diary if I called you something else.

Okay, Diary, thanks for letting me write in you! I look forward to filling your pages with poems!
