Goodbye...Tracy Beaker

Tracy's Final Gift To Lily 👸🏼👸🏼👸🏼

I didn't know how many of the kids believed in ghosts so I didn't know who would get to see her again.

I gently push open Lily's door she's alone I go to say hi but even that seems innapropriate now she lifts her head and gasps in shock her eyes lighting up

'She believes' Tracy says to me Lily gives Tracy a smile and I decide to wait outside this was their moment

LILYS POV

I felt I had the worst luck in the world first mum now Tracy why do I lose the people i love and each time I've been unable to save them!

I see the door nudge open out the corner of my eye and raise my head in utter shock at what I saw,though a faint glow was surrounding her Tracy was stood out in the hallway with mike like she was never gone making me feel warm again.

I gave her a smile I wanted to know if she was real and she smiles back

'hey lily' she says entering my bedroom mike hangs back and I hear him going back downstairs

'how is this possible?' I ask her she perches on my bed it's like she's real

'you believe..that's it really' she says to me with her warm smile I sit beside her

'I can't believe this this can't be real' I say in denial she turns to me taking my hand I can feel her it's very faint but I can feel her

'Lily..I know this is going to be very hard for you and the others but you will get through this I promise you' she says to me but all I can think is how can we get through this you unexpectedly left us no warning

'I didn't choose to leave' she says I stand up in shock

'whoa you just?' I say she nods smiling

'it's pretty cool' she says laughing I feel a bundle of sadness coming on tears come out that I can't cover up that I don't want to cover up I want her to know how much she meant to me

'oh lily' she says as she takes my other hand and pulls me into her I feel like I've fell through thin air she's so faint but she IS there

'listen..we were not meant to have favourites but you were one of my favourites you know?' She says to me I smile

'I just want you to know how much you mean to me' she says smiling taking my hand we go through to her bedroom elektra comes along and she walks straight through Tracy

'watch where your going!' Tracy says mockingly

I look in shock I try it and she's still human to me because I believe,we both fall about laughing and Tracy pulls out her memory box there's pictures of me and her in there and everything we gave each other

'I never stopped thinking about you lily you were like a sister to me' she says to me I feel myself about to cry again

'you ARE a big sister to me just come back we need you I need you!' I say stressfully

'you know I would if I could' she says to me we go back into my room she's let me take her memory box

'what about poppy and Rosie?' I say to her

'you'll get a call from your dad when I'm gone and you'll hear news that you've been awaiting your whole life' she says to me

'what do you mean when your gone?' I say

'you know I can't stay forever lily' she says a glow coming around her getting brighter

'no!' I say upset she takes my hand

'be brave stay strong remember I love you to pieces and that isn't in the past okay? You can do this lily I believe in you I always have believed in you I wanted more happiness for you than anybody else and you can go back home with your dad and smile because you got the happy ending I wanted you to have' she says to me

'what do you mean?' I say she smiles

'let's just say I've finished one last Tracy Plan' she says I smile and hand her one of the pictures

'take it with you..I love you Tracy' I say to her feeling her slipping away

'I love you too lily..don't forget that' she says her grip fading on my hand this reminded me of my mum the loss of grip on my hand watching her fade away before my eyes unable to do anything about it

'Tracy wait!' I say

'tell my mum I love her?' I say thinking this is a stupid request

'I have and she loves you too she wants you to keep smiling as do I' she says to me smiling she stands up lets go of my hand and walks away

'Goodbye Tracy Beaker' i say she turns to me with a smile

'Goodbye..Lily Kettle' She whispers tears falling down both our cheeks i blink them away and she's gone I fall back onto my bed having nothing to hold me up now

I look at the pictures having some sort of hope now I pull out my phone and sure enough it lights up

'hi dad' I say

'what really!' I say excited

'oh my god that's amazing!' 'Yeah..must be an angel on our side' I say hanging up Rosie and Poppy were coming home!!'

'Thank you' I say aloud hoping she heard me

I pack the rest of my things including the pictures I turn one around the one of me her Rosie and Poppy on the picnic

'AS THE OLDER FAIRY PRINCESS SAID A FINAL GOODBYE TO HER GUARDIAN ANGEL,SHE LEFT THE HOUSE SURROUNDED BY ELMTREES AND SLAYED THE DRAGON SHE SAVES THE FAIRY PRINCESSES AND RETURN TO THEIR KINGDOM GREETED BY THEIR KING AND THEY ALL LIVED HAPPILY EVER - Tracy Beaker xxx'

I read this near tears and I smile this was better than any of my stories combined.

I go downstairs where dads waiting and head home re reading Tracys story to me over and over and over again I shed my last tear and smile placing the picture back in my suitcase I get out the car

'here to collect my daughters' dad says to Christie who doesn't look me in the eye but I do after hearing everything about her I look her dead in the eye as I took my sisters away from the dragon who had now been slayed as the girls run towards me we get in the car driving back to our kingdom ready to start our fairytale again.
