First and last dance

As the wind was infiltrating her brilliant and brown hair, making them wave delicately,

As their bodies were moving simultaneously, like two graceful beings sculpted and defined for one another,

As her black hypnotic floating skirt was creasing through their light and harmonious moves,

As he was still holding this scarlet and refined rose in his mouth between his gleaming and barely clenched teeth, like the most breakable treasure in the world,

As they were staring intently into each other's eyes, his black pupils like two endless wells in which she was seeing herself falling continually, and her eyes of dark emerald that were enlightening his already radiant visage with pure brilliance,

Her hands stroking his skin, dark as the night, warm as the stars studding the sky,

His hands shyly brushing her fragile and svelte waist, shivering under the touch of the elegant fabric of her shirt tinted with a celestial blue,

Their faces only separated by their heavy and passionate breath as the last note was coming out of the accordion,

While everyone was holding their own breaths, only listening to the couple, panting after their vehement and ardent dance,

And finally they all breathed out

When the beautiful lips of the two wonderful dancers timidly touched one another, getting intense as their eager was overwhelming their bodies.

And now everyone knew,

Simply by the way the man was holding gently the delightful girl,

The way she was running a hand kindly in his curly, short and fluffy hair,

They knew that this was going to last,

For as long as the fire in their bodies will burn,

Protected by their loving skin.

In this life, there wasn't even a hurricane that had the power to stop them.

I got my inspiration from the picture up there, as you probably guessed it.

And I thought of writing this when I was listening to :
-C'était bien by Bourvil
-Ne me quitte pas by Jacques Brel
-Flowers of Flesh and Blood by Nicole Dollanganger
