My system

70 5 2

Made mostly of dark matter and emptiness
Just several facets appearing sometimes
Decorating this vast deep and endless darkness

The warmth, the comfort
The one you can't live without
The one you feel good being with
The Sun illuminating and warming everything up

The grazed and grayish being
The dull skin covered with scars
Studding its cold surface like faded stars
The Mercury receiving the most warmth but still the most skinned

The opposite of everyone
The unstable and gloomy one,
Surrounded by vivid color
The Venus turning in the other direction due to too much trouble

The happiness, the dynamism
The spirit full of life and joy
Welcoming and protective
The Earth ending up being hurt and having trust issues

The red coldness
The little dry body like a desert
Accessible but so mysterious
The Mars tired of being surrounded by a stressful condensed coat

The big shield, the armor
The guardian of the universe
Protecting the other beings
The Jupiter getting hit by a big part of the cosmos's punches

The unlit beauty
Far from the comforting warmth
Stroked by diamonds drops
The Saturn surrounded and stressed by millions of things

The ice giant, freezing
Seeming lifeless and mean
The inverted one, special and unique
The cold Uranus, prettily blue and frosty

The storm itself, the tempest
The impressive and scary being
Its restless brisk surface,
The Neptune with destructive and violent winds

All those facets making me up

My universe

My cosmos

My planets

Me

I love space. It makes me feel safe. And while writing this poem I understood that we can all relate to a planet in the universe, or maybe several.

You can be Jupiter, Earth, or even Neptune.

This world needs you.

You're beautiful, you're important.
