Jesus Christ's main aim was to teach us of love....of how to love others like we love ourselves. We always want to be something more than others...do things bigger than others....make ourselves look greater...and that is human nature. Exactly, the reason why God taught us to live above it. To not do anything out of selfish ambition or vain conceit....as it will all be useless in the end. Our lives on the Earth is not eternal....but our lives in God is. So, all we do to make ourselves great in the world is useless or rather.....not needed at all. What we need to do, is make ourselves great in front of God, by being humble and giving others value, above ourselves.
