Chapter Seven

Ailsa's Pov

I ran out of Hogwarts and down to a nearby lake for some fresh air. I wish I could just get away from here. Go anywhere at all just away from here. These last few days had been beyond confusing. I heard a twig snap behind me and dramatically turned around to see Jasper Cullen standing behind me with his wand drawn. "Jasper what is it?" I questioned him as he seemed to me ready to attack something. He didn't answer but instead a bolt of light shot from his wand and hit right into me. I fell backwards into the lake and began to lose consciousness. My chest was on fire and my legs numb. I saw another flash and then it all went dark.

Draco's Pov

Jasper left the hall A few minutes before me. Strange where would he be going? I continued to follow him out of my own curiosity. Webster could wait a few minutes longer after all I doubt she'd want to see me after what I'd just said. Jasper made his way outside Hogwarts and down to a nearby lake. I stood behind a tree and watched him approach a girl, wand drawn. Who was that? The girl turned around to reveal Ailsa. Why was Jasper going to speak to Ailsa? But before my question could be answered a light bolted out of Jasper's wand and hit Ailsa straight in the chest. She tumbled backwards into the lake and began to sink down. " you won't leave me again...not this time" I heard Jasper mumble. I began to panic. Oh my got Ailsa is she okay? Why would Jasper do that? What should I do? All of a sudden Jaspers hair began to turn black and I realised it wasn't him. Whoever this was they'd used polyjuice potion but then where was Jasper. Without thinking I charged down the boy I thought to be Jasper. "Hey! What the fuck do you think you are doing to Ailsa!" I yelled furiously and bent down to the lake to get her out. "I wouldn't do that if I was you Malfoy" he said in a haunting voice. "Yeh right as if you could stop me" I said. There was no way he was going to make me let her drown. Just as I put my hands in the water I saw Ailsa's head appear looking me dead in the eyes. This had happened before. I was certain. "Oh are you remembering something malfoy? Have any dreams lately" I had never been so scared. This had happened in my nightmares. I knew what was coming next. How could I stop this? Ailsa rose from the water and glared at me as if I was a parasite. She walked over to the boy and he kissed her on the forehead. "Kill him" the boy said to Ailsa while pointing at me. Ailsa nodded and simply said "yes, Markus" And drew her wand at me. She wouldn't hurt me. I knew Ailsa. I trusted her. "Sectumsempra!" She yelled, wand pointed towards me. my chest stung unlike any pain I'd ever felt before. My hand drew towards myself and I realised I was bleeding. Severely bleeding. I just managed to mutter out "why?" Before falling into the lake that Ailsa so recently emerged from. And Everything went black.

Luna's Pov

Jasper and Ailsa? Now that was a peculiar sight. I glanced over at the two cuddled up together at the slytherin table. Not only two minutes ago Ailsa was saying she'd kissed Draco but yet now she was apparently dating Jasper? Peculiar indeed. I bet Nargles had something to do with this. Pesky Nargles always had something to do with the most peculiar things. I must go and find them immediately! I wondered off skipping, tracing every step I thought Ailsa and Jasper might have went. I ended up at the front door. Surely Nargles wouldn't have travelled as far as outside? Yet the puddles of water on the floor seemed to tell a different story. I really wish I had my shoes right now. I opened the door and peered outside. It was rather a cold night but no rain. Peculiar. I followed the water filled path down to the nearest lake. It was quiet. Quite a nice night actually. I sat down by the lake and placed my feet in the water. Something hit against them. "Oh my!" I yelled yanking my feet out of the water. They were red with what appeared to be blood. I looked down into the lake and saw what had to be a hand. Without thinking I grabbed it and pulled a seemingly lifeless body out of the lake. It was Draco Malfoy. Nargles didn't do this.
