Chapter Thirteen

Draco's Pov

I slept for a little while longer till it was socially acceptable to wake up. I got up, put on a grey jumper and black jeans and quickly fixed my hair. I opened the black door of my dorm room and jogged lightly down the stairs meeting Ailsa as I passed. "Hey Uhm Ailsa I was wondering- "
"Not now Draco, talk later okay?" She said and quickly slipped past me. What was all that about? I decided to go out instead with Crabbe and Goyle after all what else was I supposed to do. Not like Jasper was here anymore. All three of us walked to a close by bar. I wasn't of age to drink but not like anyone would care. After all with a father a part of the ministry of magic it does get you some privileges. I sat on a stool at the bar and ordered a beer. What a shitty week eh? I started to go over everything that happened. I started to full for a mudblood, got attacked and not only did I get attacked but it was my best friend who attacked me and they weren't even real! God this place has gone to the dumps. I mean how does this shit even happen at a fucking school for Christ sake! I could tell that the alcohol was really getting to me and stopped for my own sake and the sake of others. "Mate what's up with you?" Said Goyle I think. I barely paid attention to them at this point. "Nothing you swine leave me be" I snapped back. I was in no mood for talking. "Jeez mate calm it I was only asking"
"Yeah well next time don't" I said coldly. I never really realised how much this week had affected me. Guess shit like this doesn't really happen to me.

Ailsa's Pov

I snuck back into my room and waited for Luna's arrival. *knock knock* right on time. I opened the door and she crept in, her face glowing with delight. "I'm quite excited I must admit" she said before sitting down on my bed. "Now whats the exact plan again?" I said to her making sure everything was going to go right.
"Okay so as you know Draco obviously wants to go to the ball with you and is probably trying to ask you at every chance right?"
"Well I don't know-"
"He is okay trust me" said Luna cutting me off.
"So, late at night when the ball begins you're going to knock on the door and tell him Snape wants to see him okay?"
"Yes yes okay I got that part" I said.
"And then you'll lead him to the ball room and ask him to be your partner then kiss!" Luna said now giggling. I guess the whole thing was pretty cute. But I had to admit I was pretty damn scared. What if he rejected me? Oh I bet he will as well he'll probably be going with Pansy again and I'll make an utter fool out of myself!
"Ailsa you seem worried" Luna asked concerned.
"What if he doesn't like me?" I said trying to hide the sadness surrounding me.
"Ailsa how many times do I have to say he does. I promise you"
"But Luna how can you tell?"
"The Nargles told me" And not like I'd tell Luna this but that didn't calm my nerves what so ever.

Draco's Pov

I got back to my dorm and decided to draw for a little while. I wanted to take my mind off all the stress I've been facing. God if I felt like this imagine how Ailsa felt. Without thinking I started drawing her. Her blue dazzling eyes, her long silver hair. Every perfection she had. Honestly she didn't even have an imperfection because all of her imperfections were perfect to me. I'm pathetic. I thought to myself. After 30 minutes I finished the drawing and looked at it with pride. This had to be my best drawing yet. I smiled at the thought of Ailsa seeing it. I bet she'd blush. She was so cute when she blushed. I looked up at the time and realised it was getting late. Shit I still hadn't asked Ailsa out yet. I quickly got up, hid the drawing and walked over to the girls dormitory and knocked on Ailsa's door. I hope she was in. The door creaked open to reveal...Luna? What on earth was she doing here. "Oh hey Draco I'm sorry but Ailsa isn't here right now but I'd be happy to take a message."
"Uh...okay Uhm no that's fine" I said and returned back to my dorm...alone.
