Y/n POV I was free. From the hospital since I healed a little fast on my cuts. The bruises and the wrap around my head were still trouble. I then walked out of the hospital and held Rin's hand. Even though I'm pretty old now, I still hold his hand when I'm afraid. I had lumine then stop suddenly and I stopped also letting go of Rin's hand. " What's wrong?" Rin said " I-i'll be there just give me a s-second." I said I crouched down to lumine since he was in his dog type of form. " What's wrong?" I said scratching his head " I'm sorry... I can't be with you." He said whimpering making me confused " Is this because of rin and yukio?" I asked By that time rin was next to me crouching down also " Hey, look I'm sorry for getting angry and kicking you out, trust me. I'll never do that ever again dude." Rin said honestly Lumine sighed " But that's the problem, that's not it." lumine said " Then what?" I said Kody came out with Aiden " Y/n he's well with us basically." Aiden said I then stood up with rin holding lumine I turned around looking into lumine's eyes

I then frowned at him " Why? You don't have to go." I whispered to him softly " I-im... Well.... I work for them Y/n, it's my job now." He said whispering back. " But You don't have to If you don't want to right?" I said a tear rolling down my cheeks. I glanced back to see everyone in a huge argument kody included this time. I looked back to lumine being in human form. " Look Y/n, I'm sorry I have to." he wiped my tear off my cheek with his thumb. He frowned his tail wagging low.

I couldn't take it and hugged him tight. He's a few inches taller than me. Same height as kody actually. I squeezed his shirt tight crying a little
Lumine POV It broke my heart telling her I can't be with her. I really, really like her. Ok screw that. I'm in love with her. But seeing her like this tears me up inside. I frowned. She then hugged me and squeezing my shirt crying lightly. Since I'm a few inches taller I layed my head on hers. I wrapped my arms around her hugging back.
I whispered a faint " I love you Y/n." but she was too messed up to hear.
* Half an hour later*
Rin POV " No yukio that won't work if you got a dog, it's nothing like lumine. You know that dude!" I said groaning " She has to come out to eat, actually maybe I should get pizza?" Yukio said I rolled my eyes " She's not coming out the freakin room for who knows how long. It's already been half an hour!" I said throwing my hands in the air plopping onto the couch " How else is she going to get out that room? " Yukio said " mmm the bathroom? She needs to use it eventually right?" I said " But she can probably hold it until we are asleep." he said " dang it, hate it when your right." I said That's when he plopped onto the couch next to me groaning " Why did lumine have to work for them in the first place to where he can't be with us?" I said looking over at yukio " My thoughts would be a cook." He said looking back at me " True, he can cook pretty well, more than You and Y/n combined." I said
That's when we heard a door open
Y/n POV " I'm spending the night at kody's, already contacted his dad. I have my clothes, toothbrush, toothpaste. I won't be late for school tomorrow. I love you both, good day." I walked out closing the door behind me. I walked down to kody's and saw a group of kids from my school and saw them scream " KILLER AHHHHHH!" They than ran seperate ways I then felt a presence behind me and caught a... HAMMER!? " What the!" I said holding It green fire appeared in my hand " U-uh." the girl said She was in fear and dropped it and it landed on her foot and she screamed in pain I tried to take it off but then my green fire got in the way and it shot at her.
Her friends? Got hit by it. They all.... oh my gosh... I backed up slowly looking at my hands Blood. Remember that song? 'On the highway to hell?' Well my version is ' The road to a killer.' I then grabbed my stuff and ran fast and somehow I was at kody's door banging on it harshly Then the girl from before opened it " Hello Y/n?" she saw my hands and yanked me inside along with my stuff The other guy from before came running and then ran back and came with aiden " What happened!?" Aiden said grabbing my hands and I had tears roll down my cheeks " I tried to help her! I tried.... I REALLY TRIED! AND I KILLED HER AND HER FRIENDS!" I said bursting into tears and I felt someone grab me by the arm and then I was thrown onto a bed hearing the door being locked.
I shot up only to see kody walking to me sitting next to me " How many..." he said then pulling me to his lap I then sniffed " 7 o-or 8." I said burrying my face into his neck. He held me by my waist rubbing my back " Every time you go out... Tell me to come and get you. Please." he said sighing I looked up at him with tears. " I do-dont want to hurt you too kody.." He shook his head " Even if I do get hurt I'll know you never meant to." He said laying back with me still on top of him. He just held me and I looked into his green eyes and he looked back into my E/c eyes. We stayed like that for what felt like hours. I then didn't even realize we were leaning in slowly I felt his breath on my lips, still looking into each other's eyes. . . . . Am I about to kiss kody??
