Y/n POV *Knock Knock Knock* Me and kody were actually sleeping beside each other. After we looked into each other's eyes? We made out a little, and got tired and slept. But I 100% forgot about this is not my own house and I'm just 18. I shifted and tried to move but Kody's arm was around my waist and his face was in my neck, he was snoring lightly. I slowly slid out of his grip and replaced my body with a pillow. I walked out since the door was already open and heard more knocks. I opened the door to a crying Maka. I gave a shocked face letting her in. " Maka?" I said She sat on the couch curling up and crying I sat next to her rubbing circles on her back. " Maka, tell me what's wrong." I said She looked up at me and sniffed wiping some tears away. " S-soul... M-my S-s-soul.. Is in jail, probably the same one as Kody's dad!" she said sniffling " But wasn't he only making money? For the both of you?" I said She shook her head " He just wanted to get money and be rich, so he can buy himself things..He didn't need me anyway in his life, I'm probably just a toy to him." She said now angry Her face turned red with anger but she looked at me and gave a all of a sudden confused look " What is that on your neck?" she said still sniffling a little " M-my neck? What??" I said confused as she was I then recalled that while me and kody were about to sleep, he made a hickey on me. I smiled sheepishly " Kinda, sorta, maybe, did, get stung by a wasp." I said standing up I heard groaning Maka looked at me with a visible smirk " Oh my gosh Y/n, is that a man?" She said standing up now slowly going down the hallway which would lead to my room " M-Maka don't go into my room." I said She rolled her eyes laughing " I'm just peaking, I won't be killing anyone or something!" she said chuckling I froze in place All the people I had killed in the past, with my powers.. All the death I watched.. Everything has scarred me for life. I felt a hand on my shoulder and snapped out of my daze and realized it was Maka. " What is wrong? Why we're you frozen?" she said concerned I shook my head " Thoughts." I said moving her hand from me " Y/n, you can tell me anything." she said smiling " You can't tell anyone." I said " Don't tell anyone, Got it." she said nodding
I explained to her about all the people I killed and why I even did it. She was shocked the whole time. After I told her everything, she stood up instantly " Y/n, I just remembered my friend crona said u-um we should meet for coffee, after work of course." Maka said speed walking to the door " See you!" she said slamming the door shut I'm screwed
" So you told her about the past?" I jumped a little and felt myself burn up Not in a blushing way, but a burning way " Kody?" I said turning around to face him His hair was all over his head and he looked sleepy " Am I burning up?" I said
Kody POV " Am I burning up?" Y/n said I put my hand on her forehead but retreated instantly " Your like on fire Y/n!" I said looking at my hand and back at her She looked down instantly " What did you do?" I said " I-i don't know." she said confused " Should I ask your dad tomorrow?" she said walking down to her room while I followed " I mean, I guess since I don't know exactly." I said She sat on the bed as I hesitated to sit next to her I poked her cheek and she felt normal I then pushed my back against the wall and pulled her to my chest.
