Y/n POV I started to tear up. He doesn't want to lose me.. I then hugged him back and held him tightly. I couldn't hold my tears in and I started crying. He pulled back to look at my face. " I haven't seen you cry in years..." he said smiling with tears roll down his cheeks My heart dropped instantly " Y-Y-years?" I said letting go of him " Yukio? You never cried." he said letting go of me now I started crying hard. I miss yukio, why did he even drive so fast? He didn't need to.. He could have waited later and just.. Already.. I cried even harder Rin was trying to calm me down by rubbing my back in circles but I backed away, I ran off into my room and slammed the door. I leaned against the door sinking down, curling up into a ball, ignoring everything.
* 4 hours later*
Rin POV It's been 4 hours since Y/n went into her room. I don't understand how she's not, well her other self. It's like she had something happen and I.. I don't know. She's like 14 again or something. She was with kody last, that was the last time I saw her happy self... Now? She's just messed up over yukio. I mean how did she just so happen to hit her head and ' forget' everything that happened. I got up and walked to her door and knocked softly " What do you want?" Y/n sounded better, I can hear her voice clearly " I want to know what really happened you." I had a little bit of hope she would tell me I heard movement and the door slowly opened. Her eyes we're puffy and her cheeks were stained with her tears. She opened the door more to let me inside. I sat on the bed and she walked over and sat by me. She curled up and sighed " You see... What happened was..." she started " Remember when I was 14? That me and kody left to his house? To go to aiden?" she said I nodded " W-well.. I had to go through a portal, 4 years worth.. Now I'm 18... I haven't even checked to see if my powers are still there." she said My mouth slightly dropped " Why did your personality even change?" I said " I don't know, that's what I'm going to have to ask, at least kody. Since Aiden is in jail." she said sniffling

I just want to go see the both of them, hugging for once. I frowned " Rin, I'm going to the skateboard store." I said uncurling myself getting up and running out of my room I left him with a ' wtf' look and opened the door and closed it leaving the house.
* 4 minutes later* I arrived at the skateboard store and opened it to see maka. " Oh hey." I said She went wide-eyed and ran over to hug me " Girl, are you alright? I could see your tears from the register." She said sadly I shook my head " I'm fine, where's kody?" I said confused " He's working out the wheels... I thought you broke up with him." she said " I.. I did, I'm just friends with him, that's all." I said smiling She nodded hesitantly " Do you work here shockingly?" I said " You been knew..." she said setting up skateboards on the wall " Wait, do I have a job?" I said " No, you quit working remember? You worked at a hotel but they made you do all the work so you quit." she said putting up extra skateboards " Right." I said shocked from me actually having a job That's when kody walked out from the back and had his hair ruffled. He was sweating and had band-aids on his fingers " Oh my gosh kody are you okay?" I said looking at his fingers. He noticed I was there and he nodded " I'm fine." He said sighing " Hey I'll do the rest, take a break." Maka said glaring at kody He held up his hands in defense and she went to the back
" Is something wrong with you guys?" I said He shook his head " We kind of look out for each other working here." he said I nodded slightly " What even happened to your hands?" I said " Nothing." he said He walked out the store and I caught up with him. " Tell that to your fingers you idiot." I said grabbing his wrist He stopped and turned to me " I got into a fight in a alley while I was on the way to work." he said rolling his eyes " Who would want to even fight you?" I said " I dunno, some guy with white spikey hair and sharp teeth, and um... Red eyes?" He said making a ' wtf ' I mentally facepalmed myself and cupped his face " Please be careful kody, you know I care about you." I said
Kody POV Y/n cupped my face and said " Please be careful kody, you know I care about you." That made my cheeks warm up instantly I was so used to the cold her, that seeing the real her? Makes me warm and fuzzy inside. I've missed this side of her so much. The girl I fell in love with, I can see again. I didn't lose her after all. I cupped her cheeks this time leaning in and kissing her forehead mumbling a ' I love you' I pulled back and her face was pinkish She smiled " I love you too." Y/n said leaning in and now kissing me on the lips making me kiss back. The words kept repeating inside my head . . . . . . " Please be careful kody, you know I care about you."
