Y/n POV Am I about to kiss kody? Then . . . " OHHHHHHH KODDDYYY!" I heard kody's dad and the door opened. We instantly separated blushing rapidly " Oh? Did I mess something up? Did I need to go buy a con-" " Dad, don't. say. it." kody said groaning blushing harder I looked away and stood up walking out the room trying to find the bathroom until I bumped into someone. " LUMINE!? " I said shocked " Y/N!?" he said shocked as well " Why are you here? I thought you would probably be cooking or a maid or something!" I said " NO! I'm none of those things I'm a b-never mind." he said looking down. " Tell me lumine.. after showing me where the bathroom is." I said groaning we then walked to the bathroom while he was explaining everything to me while I was washing my hands.
" So.... lumine... your a what now?" I said lowkey sassy " I'm a bodyguard, for kody." he said scratching his head " You make no sense anymore now these days. I was busy crying my eyes out thinking I'll never be with you ever again and here you are being a bodyguard. Which you are like 13 right? And you just so happen to be a bodyguard for one of my friends. No sense anymore!" I said walking out the bathroom " B-but Y/n I-" I cut him off angrily " Don't you Y/n me lumine, you could have told me sooner so I'll at LEAST know you were okay and thinking your banned from me or something, I couldn't even stay home with rin or yuki, I had to spend the night over here. I'm thinking you were treated like a slave, giving them what they want, or even a cook actually. But no, your risking your life." I said rolling my eyes I saw his ears and tail go down " I really am mad at you, just know I'm probably not gonna talk or make eye contact even with you for a while." I said walking off
Lumine POV I messed up, I really really messed up. The one girl I actually fall in love with, is pissed at me. They did say I had a choice but I said no, rin and yukio are like a family but Y/n was always more than that. Even though she's a year older than me, same age as kody. Kody even said I should tell them, but I didn't and this is what I get. Dang it. " Hey lumine." Silver said " Hi.." I said frowning my ears and tail low " What's wrong with you?" He said sounding concerned " I should have told them Y/n is pissed at me.." I said almost crying " Hey, hey, don't cry dude. You'll be fine, she can't stay mad forever. If she really loves you she will be back instantly." he said patting my shoulder and making me blush he walked off and I had to fight the urge for my ears and tail from getting hope, knowing that it can go away.
Kody POV I really hate life. My dad just told me about what to do when a girl and you are alone. He told me probably a dictionary worth, I almost fell asleep actually. Now Y/n was back in the room, I've never seen her this way, it's kind of... hot.
" Y/n what's wrong?" I said and she plopped next to me holding her hand which was a fist " Why.." she said " Um pardon?" I said " Why is lumine your bodyguard?" she said looking at me tears at the corner of her eyes " I want him to be home, what if something bad happens... then what will you? Not care?" she said tears rolling down her cheeks " Y/n we do care, a whole lot about him. We try everything we can okay? If something happens we will try and fix it." I said wiping her tears away with my sleeve " B-but what if h-he dies? You can't fix that!" she said now looking down I frowned. I know she had a good point but I don't know what to do.
Y/n POV I then stood up and walked out the room searching for lumine. I then smell food and instantly stop. " Y-Y/n." I hear a voice behind me and I instantly turn around " Wow, the person I was looking for." I said clapping sarcastically " I-i wanted to apologize for not telling you." lumine said frowning I didn't even realize I was moving
Lumine POV " I-i wanted to apologize for not telling you." I frowned at what thoughts were going through her head and then, she hugged me. I blushed rapidly hugging her back confused " What's this for?" I said " It's because I forgive you, you idiot." She said letting go scratching my ear making my tail wag I then realized my arms were wrapped around her waist and our bodies were almost touching but she was focused on my ears to not notice. " H-H-HEY UH Y/N I HAVE TO USE THE RESTROOM NOW.." I said letting go running fast
omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg! I just had a b.... well what guys get. I then had to stay in the bathroom for half an hour.
Y/n POV Wonder why Lumine had to leave so quickly. I shrugged then blushed and ran to the silver guy. " H-hey what's your name again?" I said not actually knowing his name " Silver. What's up?" I smiled at how nice he was " Um well, if you hug someone your close with do you get a... ya know. " I said blushing " Well if he likes you he will get one depending on what's happening." Silver said " What? Someone had it?" he said " N-no just wondering, thank you!" I said running off I walked to kody's room and saw him playing games on his phone.

( u have dis on btw) I walk in and sit in my sleeping spot thinking about why lumine would have that. He's like a brother to me, nothing more. " Wanna stay up?" I heard a voice and looked up to see kody looking at the ceiling and I smiled " If I say yes what would we do?" I said smiling I heard a faint chuckle " Probably everything, just can't wake up anyone." He said sitting up " So your saying~?" I said " Games, movies, sugar rush, crash later." He said " It's a school night kody we can't do everything." I said laughing " Worth it." he said shrugging I stood up and crossed my arms " Which one first." I said sighing in defeat and I can't actually believe what I'm seeing but, I'm seeing kody smile... brightly after what I said. Does he?... nah
We opened the door peaking out I then saw the stairs whispering " Why do you people have to have stairs!?" I said " Don't blame me!" He said whispering back It was pretty dark, only the moonlight brightened everything. I then made it down a few steps and kody held me by the waist walking the rest down since I nearly slipped twice in my stitch slippers.
I then couldn't see anymore and ran into a figure that fell ontop of me. " Ow~ how did you even get over here?" It was kody he spoke low but still loud slightly " Shush!" I said whisper yelling then we heard footsteps and he instantly got off me dragging me to a closet
since crap was everywhere in there our bodies were touching and I blushed rapidly. I felt eyes on me and the very, very dim moonlight shined and I could see kody's eyes looking at me. " K-kod-" I was cutt off by... his lips on mine.
