Y/n POV Kody released me and stood up shocked as well. " M-maka.. I can explain..." I said slowly walking to her " Elijah..? My BEST FRIEND?" she said now in front of me looking angry and sad " Yes.. He.. He died. " I said " HOW!?" Maka said angry " I tried to save him, he said he loved you. Wanted to marry you someday." Kody said speaking up She went wide-eyed " H-he.. Loved me?" she said her voice cracking Me and kody nodded " I loved him... But went to soul.. Great.. JUST GREAT!" She said " I just found out this morning that Soul got killed in jail! Now this?? I CANT TAKE THIS!" she said crying hard now hugging me I hugged her back shocked Soul died...? Now Elijah? And he has a baby..
* 2 weeks later*
Y/n POV It's been 2 weeks since Elijah's funeral. Maka is still messed up. But gets worse every day. She can't even get her words out without crying. The only way anyone can communicate is by texting her now. Good thing the evidence of Elijah's death I accidentally burned up. Elijah's aunt? She just went to her parents for now. She can't take this. I mean their bond was like mother and son. I texted maka that she needs to leave her home. This time she left me on read making me wonder if I shouldn't have said that. I called Kody to see how he was, I haven't seen him in a couple of days now. Maybe 4 or 5 days actually. " Hello?" kody said sounding sleepy " Are you okay?" I said confused " Yes.. I just feel horrible that I killed him. I messed everyone u-" he was cut off by a knock on the door " Babe.. I'll be right back. Actually I'll call you back in a sec." he said sounding disappointed " O-okay." I said sounding sad " Actually on second thought, I'll take you out on a date. I'll be at your house. Okay babygirl?" he said sounding hopeful I blushed at the nickname " Alright." I said sounding like a happy 6 year old. " Okay bye." he said happy " Bye." I said hanging up I was already at home and wondered what to wear to my date. I didn't want to go all out so I picked something that would brighten the mood.

I smiled at what I had and went on outside to run dead into kody. " Sorry." he said chuckling " We're you running?" I said confused " Yes.. Maka actually." he said sounding slightly terrified " What do you mean maka?" I said lost He grabbed my hand and dragged me with him to a coffee shop. " When I say Maka? I mean she was like.. Crazy. Her hair looking like she got slapped and her wig flew off.. And she said ' I know who did it ' and chased me." he said getting the coffee I took mine as we sat down at the table and we sat across from each other. " Why would she chase you and say those words in the first place?" I said confused " I don't know. She's been messed up." He said drinking his coffee. Then I saw the door get kicked down making everyone in here scream and duck " KODY!!!! YOU DID IT!" it was freakin maka " What!? WHAT DID I DO?" Kody said standing up grabbing my hand " You... Killed... Elijah... And Y/n... You knew..." Maka said fidgeting " Calm down Maka." I said holding onto Kody's arm " Look.. Calm down. Your mentally sick." Kody said standing slightly in front of me " My love life is dead because of you... I'm going to the COPS!" Maka said running out the coffee shop Everyone stood up looking at us " She's sick?" the lady at the cash register said Me and kody nodded " she's a nutshell." she said to brighten the mood Me and kody walked out and maka was no where to be seen.
Kody POV As soon as me and Y/n made sure everything was clear I saw tears flow from her eyes. " B-babe!?" I said shocked wiping her tears away " Wh-what if they take you? What if the believe her?" Y/n said crying making my heart shatter " Babe. They won't take me away. I'm going to be with you." I said hugging her tight " I don't want to lose you.." she said her face in my chest " You aren't going to." I said running my fingers through her hair. She looked up at me with teary eyes. I pecked her lips and she smiled a little " You promise?" she said " I promise.." I said pecking her lips again . . . . . . . . I'm not going to break that promise... I'm not leaving you Y/n
