First Sight - A Violentine story

Violet's POV

I awaken, seeing Clem holding onto me for dear life, I gently lift her up and put her onto her bed

"Violet......" Clem says on her sleep

"Is she dreaming about me?" I think to myself

I decide to leave her be and take a shower and get changed, I walk out to see Mitch working some sort power system, using a lightbulb

"What you doing there,. Mitch?" I say getting his attention

"Oh, hi Violet, I'm just fixing up this mechanism I found in the greenhouse, to try to get electricity running" he says obviously in his element

"Cool" I say not quite understanding much of what he said

"In other words, I can get phones to work" he says pulling out a small flip phone

He cranks up the device connected to the battery pack, and to the lightbulb, the Bulb eventually lights up, he then connects the wire to the phone, and the phone powers on

"Fuck, yeah!" He shouts

"It worked!" I say surprised

"Of, course it did!" He says cockily

"We can electricity the barbed wire, now we have a better chance against the raiders" Mitch explains

"What about phones?" I ask

"Oh..., Right, here's yours and here's Clem's" he says

He hands me my phone which is a purplish and has a small rainbow on the back

"Cute" I whisper to myself

I head inside and over to mine and Clem's room, i reach the door and see that while I was gone she carved on the door, the initials V+C inside a heart, I enter our room, I see her sitting on the desk, daydreaming

"Clem?" I say

"Oh..., Hi Vi" she says just phasing out of her daydream

"Hi, Mitch did another experiment and got electricity working, so we have working phones!" I say excitedly

"Here's your phone" I say holding in my excitement

"Thanks, Umm I have Tenn's  art supplies with me, he let me borrow his art supplies, so... You want to help me  personalise my phone?" She says almost nervous

"Babe..." I say pressing my lips on hers

"Of course" I say giving her a warming smile

I sit down on the desk chair pulling out my phone, Clem's arms wrapped around my waist, I open the art box and pull out some stickers, and peel off a rainbow flag and out it on the back of the flip phone, I then take out the acrylic paints, I then paint the half of the back in purple and Clem paints the other part in a greyish blue

"Babe, you're phone is cute!" I say in an almost subtle voice making the hairs on Clem's neck tingle

"You're cuter" Clem say leaning in for a kiss, but I playfully pull away

"Nuh uh, I'm tired, maybe in the morning..." I say teasingly

"You are such a tease" Clem says biting my bottom lip

We get undressed into only our underwear, and get into our bed, and we cuddle, until we fall asleep
