By the day was over with I started walking home from school a little late. I knew I had to hurry because my mom gets worried when I am not at home on time. I put my earphones in and listen to my playlist and started walking home.
I made it home on time and walked through the door and put my stuff down and walked right back to the living room to call my mom at work because I knew my mom was going to tell me all the things I needed to due that day. When the call was over I clean, made dinner , and fed my brothers because I am the only one who knows how to cook properly without burning the house down.
After dinner I took a shower and laid in my bed to just relax after a long day. I texted my old time friend above new friends, Janiah. We go way back when to I first moved here. I didn't tell her about my crush because it is all black dudes for her no other race but I accept all.

For the next two months Me and Jay became such close friends, and I noticed Hunter got buffer I wondered what he was doing. Ceil did not talk much when I came around but would speak his heart out when I'm gone. I thought he just did not like me or something.
I started to talk to Jay on our way to 3rd block.
"Hey chick yo B-DAY I'd coming up what you planning to do"-Jay
" I don't- Wait how you know my birthday is"- Shayla
" Because you told me, don't be getting old on me and forgetting shit"-Jay
"Oh but I don't know what I'm doing"-Shayla
Jay looks behind me and similes.
" What is it? Why are you similing? Is something on my pants?"-Shayla
"No but you getting real Thick back there!"-Jay
"Jay cut it out, I don't want everyone looking at me"-Shayla
"Mmmmm..... Whatever now tell me when are you gonna hit Honey blue-eyed boy"-Jay
"What"-Shayla
We made our way into the class room
"Girl you have had eyes for that boy every since we met. You make it seem like you are a stalker. Come on now you have to get his foot long before I do"-Jay
"I like him and you wouldn't dare touch him!"-Shayla
"Ight bet"-Jay
" Jay no-"-Shayla
Jay walked up to Hunter when he was entering the classroom and whispered something. The next thing I knew was Hunter's cheeks turned a Rosie red. Jay model walked back beside me.
"What did you say"-Shayla
"Why don't you ask him"-Jay
" Ugh I hate you "-Shayla
" No you love me how"-Jay
I just hushed and put my head down embarrassed of what Jay might have said to Hunter. We began class and I did not say a word to Jay but he keeps similing at me so I know whatever he said is probably bad. At the end of class Mrs.H handed everyone a project paper saying we have to work in our assigned groups. The project would be due next month, we would have to come up with 150 math higher level questions for a test grade and two has to type the test, and two more had to type a page for why the math questions are fit for a higher level category. We all exchanged numbers so that meant I had Hunter number and he has mine. After that I said bye to Jay and started walking home.
When I get home I do the same routine I always due when I get home. Later that night I got a message from Ceil saying "can we talk on the phone"
I just replied "sure" and five seconds later he calls me.

"Hey"-Ceil
"Hi ....you don't really talk to me so did you want something"-Shayla
" Damn I just can't say hey to a beautiful girl"-Ceil
"Oh mmmm.....sure you can but I wanna know where this coming from"-Shayla
"I just wanted to ask you out"-Ceil
"You just can't spring that on me, I didn't know you like me. But no and you doing this over the fucking phone"-Shayla
" Ugh why not woman I been sending signals this hold time that I like you"-Ceil
"Boii! What signals? All you been doing is not talking to me and staring and copying my work."-Shayla
" Whatever but i am not giving up on you cause one day you gon wanna be my girl when that white boy in our group is out of the picture"-Ceil
Damn do everyone know I like Hunter. I have to stop staring at him.
"Whatever and bye"-Shayla
I hang up the phone wondering when was Ceil like this. I made a call to Jay for advice.
" Hey Big booty"-Jay
"Hey has Ceil been acting weird to anyone else"-Shayla
" Other than liking you no"-Jay
"When was this?"-Shayla
"Girl he been giving you the 'I wanna fuck look' since last month"-Jay
" Oh ....wellll I am still a virgin, so we can not fuck plus the only person I wanna fuck is Hunter"-Shayla
"Girl you really need to get over this crush if you ain't gon talk to him"-Jay
" Yea Yea I hear you, I just- No I need to get over him because I already know I am not going to talk to him about my feelings so you're right "-Shayla
" mmmhmm, now try to get some sleep and go out with him and see how it goes"-Jay
"But Jay-" -Shayla
"Bye"-Jay.
Jay hangs up without even letting ME finish so I sent to Ceil saying " I'll go out with you" and put my phone on charger and went to bed.
