Chapter 33

Nandini's POV
We went to meet ACP again and he told me that they were going to set some officers behind me for protection but I refrained them from coming inside the college.

I wanted to lead a normal life and did not want a constant reminder that I was unsafe.

The next morning I took my scooter to college. I loved it and nowadays Manik drives me so I don't get a chance to ride it.

We entered the college and I met many people asking me if I was okay.

I was standing accompanied by Sara and Navya when I saw Maddy and Soha coming.

"Hey Nandini! Are you okay?" He asked

"Stay away from her." Sara gritted angrily and Navya looked confused

"Look I don't want to cause any trouble. I was just worried." He said and just then Manik came. Great!

"Didn't you hear? Don't talk to her. Stay away." He said

"And who the hell are you?" Maddy asked

Manik punched Maddy's face

"Manik!" Soha exclaimed

"Soha! Please stay out of this." Manik said and she backed off

Just then Harshad and Rose came there.

Again great! A nice start to a nice morning.

"Manik! What do you think? You can beat anybody and get away with it?" Harsha asked angrily

"Harshad why do you always have to poke your nose in everybody's business?" Navya asked now understanding who were on our side and who weren't

"Come on buddy." Harshad said to Maddy and the four of them started  going.

"Soha wait!" Manik said

"What?" She asked

"That person is not a good news. Please stay away from him if you trust me." He said

"Okay! I do trust you. As it is I just met him a couple of days ago." She said and went away.

"That was intense. Mind telling me who that boy was?" Navya said and I agreed to tell her in the lunch period. Even others would want to know it.

I told everyone everything at the canteen and then smoothly changed the topic. I did not want everybody to be worried.

Soon the college was over. I just could not wait to go home.

I, Sara and Navya were walking towards my scooter and just then Manik came there.

"Come on! I will drive you." He said

"No I have brought my scooter and I will ride on it." I said to him

"You brought your scooter?" He asked with his eyes twinkling like a child.

"Yes Manik why?" I asked him puzzled

"I always wanted to ride a scooter but never got a chance to." He said

"Me too!" Navya exclaimed

"Can I ride?" He asked like a child

"No nandu I want to ride!" Navya said

"I asked her first!" Manik said

"But I am her best friend" she said

"And I am her boyfriend." He said

"Let Nandini decide." Sara said and I glared at her. Devil!!

"Sorry Manik but best friend wins!" I said and gave the keys to Navya.

Manik pouted and I kissed him on his cheek.

We were waiting in the parking lot and others joined us too

We were talking when I realised half an hour had passed and there were no signs of Navya.

Just then my phone rang.

I answered my phone and then got shocked due to what I had heard.

Everybody noticed me.

"What happened Nandini?" Dhruv asked

"Navya has got into an accident."
